  • NY Upstate Dream

"My family and I were looking for an escape from the busy city and this house was beyond our expectations. It was spacious, well furnished( made me feel like I was in my own house), lots of beds( very comfortable and beautiful sheets), and the views were spectacular, the kitchen was well equipped with an enormous fridge and was open. The host could not have been more accommodating. My family and I went to the Monhonk mountain house which was about 2 miles from the house, and one night we went to the Eggs Nest restaurant which was about a 10 min drive and was a delicious meal. I will definitely be returning to this fabulous property!"

  • Wonderful Cottage home

"Perfect cottage home. Beautiful big kitchen with views of the creek you can not beat. Minutes from Woodstock and stores yet still secluded and private. Very convenient. Would certainly stay again"

  • Fantastic house for a group!

"We rented this house for a bachelorette weekend in the Hudson Valley. The house is absolutely beautiful, perfectly clean and well kept, and contained everything we could possibly have needed. With six bedrooms, all with full size beds, the house can really sleep a lot of people comfortably and without feeling at all crowded. And the kitchen is not to be believed - a huge octagonal room that seems to be made for entertaining. The house is on a beautiful quiet road and, despite being on a piece of property with other homes, feels completely private. Some of the staircases in the house are rather steep (just by virtue of it being a very cool old house), so anyone with mobility issues might just want to keep that in mind. Although, there is a bedroom on the ground floor. The house is close to the town of Rhinebeck, which is really lovely, and lots of wineries, outdoor activities, etc. It made for an absolutely perfect weekend. Everything about this house is exactly as advertised and will exceed your expectations!"

  • What a View!

"This is a beautiful home with one of the loveliest lake views I have seem. The house itself is spacious, clean and well maintained. The owner is accessible and eager to help (although we had no problems during our stay). The only aspect of this rental that is not perfect is the parking. Since the property is on a severe slope, parking in the driveway is not recommended. A convenient spot is provided across the road but even this on a slope. It makes loading and unloading the vehicle tricky. Otherwise, you couldn't find a nicer place."
