"My family stayed at this beautiful lake house for one week in July. The house contains everything needed for a perfect stay. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable furniture. Our main purpose in staying at this lake house was to unwind and relax from stressful jobs. There is no better way to decompress than by watching the wildlife and the sunsets in the evening. The house if furnished beautifully. We travelled into Saratoga to shop during the one day it rained. Be sure to visit Gardenworks and Battenkill Creamery in Salem. The homeowner was very responsive to all my questions."

"We reserved Hardenburg Road for the week of our daughter’s wedding. Three of us arrived four days in advance. It was dark when we pulled in but as soon as we found all the light switches we were delighted. The kitchen was the largest and best equipped I have experienced in either a vacation rental or a timeshare. There was plenty of room for my sister’s family when they arrived. A crib was provided for her grandson and the six-year old granddaughter made full use of the jungle gym. We grilled out and then relaxed around the fire pit. Once the house filled up, it was especially nice for the parents of the bride to have the spacious master suite as a private retreat. Donna was a great host, responsive to our e-mails, providing alternate routes and answers to our questions. The wedding was spectacular. Hardenburg Road was a close second."

"This was our second time staying here – we hope to come back for a 3rd visit. Could have stayed for a month!! It was 2 couples and 2 single folks, up for a college reunion – having the 4 bedrooms was great. The house was spotless upon our arrival. The location is superb with many great shops, markets and restaurants in close walking distance – if you like Indian food, there is a great place right around the corner. There is easy on-street parking – it was never an issue for us. There is a strong Wi-Fi which worked great, and a wonderful porch. The kitchen is the ‘hub’ of the house and if you like to cook, there are all the pots, pans and spices you could need. Linda has a wonderful “use and replace” policy with the kitchen supplies. In general, it is a great place in a great location. We will indeed come back!!"

"We were looking for a special place to celebrate my wife's retirement with our kids, & their mates. This house was PERFECT. The views, from the moment you enter, are astounding. The lake is just right there! Denise's attention to detail is fantastic. She was available to answer any small question or concern- without being in any way intrusive. We know (& love) the area ,having spent so many years of our youth at summer camp nearby- so being in THIS house was spectacular. The area has just so much to offer- The Saturday AM Farmer's Market was a hit- as well as the Hillsdale Arts Fair. No trip to the area is complete without a trip to the Swiss Hutte (one of our favorite restaurants in the world!) , as well as the casual Four Brothers. The firepit was a great hit- making s'mores & great family memories. Even hiking Bash Bish in the rain, with umbrellas, was amazing. The kayaks were used for peaceful trips around the lake. You will LOVE your stay here! We can't wait for the opportunity to return!"
