"We re-booked the railway house after a fantastic stay last summer.
We were thrilled with the new porch out back as well as Bobbie's usual touches (notes throughout the house, binder full of helpful information, shampoo/conditioner, etc)... We would stay at this place again in a heart beat and cant wait to return next summer."

"The house is really great and very comfortable. Well designed appointments make for a relaxing getaway and high walk-ability score. Everything is within walking distance including the train station if needed. Its quiet with 3 bedrooms upstairs and a small sitting room off the living room downstairs. My only complaint is that the ground floor can be a bit dark but it's not really a huge problem.
Thank Lisa! We'll be back!"

"I have to agree with the previous reviews - the place is spectacular - better than the pictures. Four friends get together every year and we have rented houses all over - and all agree, this is the best yet - probably never to be surpassed. The home is so well stocked - you think of it - it's there. All furnishings are beautiful but relaxing - nothing felt like you couldn't use it. Elizabeth is a wonderful host, greeting us to show us around her beautiful home and always available if the need arises. The pool is a huge bonus - after a day of sightseeing to come back and relax and watch the river and sunsets. The location is convenient to Hyde Park for the Culinary Institute - recommend taking the tour, and the Vanderbilt and Roosevelt Mansions - and to Rhinebeck with all it's great restaurants. I'm looking forward to getting back to the Hudson River Valley."

"This is the second time my husband and I rented this property for a family vacation with my parents and sister. The property is clean and well maintained. The boat dock is a nice addition as it allows us storage for our 3 kayaks and our boat rental. One our favorite features is the outdoor fire pit that nestles up against the woods. It adds privacy as is a nice place to hang with family and friends. We also like the indoor game room with darts, ping pong, and foosball. We love this side of the lake as it is quiet, relaxing, and majestic! We dislike the village and all the tourists! P.s. Gull bay is a really nice place to watch the sunset! We will be back again!!!
