"One of the most stunning properties I've ever been on.
From the magnificent and beautifully decorated pool and pool house to the massive octagonal kitchen to the fire pit and picturesque pond, this Rhinebeck estate is perfect for any groups looking to have a weekend together. Darren, the property manager, was super attentive and is even mailing back a set of keys that were found after check-out. With a guest book detailing everything you need to know about the house and the surrounding area, the house could not be more professional and prepared to take care of newcomers. There is even wifi in case you need to get some work done.
The only reason I wouldn't give this property a five star review is to make it easier for me to rent in the future. We'll definitely be back!"

"We rented this place as a base for the family as my son was graduating from West Point. The home is located on a large lot in the country. The location is absolutely beautiful. The home is a three story single family residence. The bottom story is a daylight basement with a queen and two twin beds. There is a piano, foosball table, table tennis and a sofa in the basement. There is a new LG washer and dryer there. Great hangout room to play and talk. Cool in the hot Summer. The main floor has a 3/4 bath, a nice bedroom with queen bed and desk. The kitchen is large with room for a breakfast table as well. The main room is a combo living room and dining room with a very high ceiling. A large sofa and two large chairs are comfortable and a good place to have conversations, play charades, etc. The main room and basement have Cable TV & Apple TV. The fireplace here is a real wood burning one. The back has a narrow but long deck, with a charcoal burning BBQ grill. The main room is bright with a ton of windows. The kitchen is well equipped for all your needs. The top floor has two bedrooms. The master has its own deck and a large desk. The other has a queen bed, a smaller kid bed and a crib. Nice touch. All the beds are very comfortable and we slept like babies. There is a full bath up here. The house easily sleeps 11 adults in the beds...the sofa could sleep another.
We were celebrating my son's graduation from West Point so we had family and friends for dinner. The main dining table easily sits 8. With a little movement of things like the nook table we sat 12 for dinner with more room if needed. We had a great time that night & what a wonderful celebration it was....in large measure because of the house.
The owner must be mentioned....how awesome she is!!!. She purchased and sent new wine glasses & champagne flutes on her own initiative. There was already enough there but her thought was heartfelt. Made us feel like family. From the very beginning she was in touch when we needed, always available by email or text. If we needed anything she did her best right away.
The drive to West Point is 1 hour and 15 minutes. This should not deter you if this is why you are here. It is a beautiful drive and in no way tiring. The cute town of New Paltz is 15 or so minutes away. Great for shopping. The house is on a very private lot.....cannot see any neighbors. we loved this place and the owner. Thank you for making us feel welcome! I highly recommend this place!"

"This was our second Thanksgiving spent in this beautiful house and we had again a wonderful time! this time it was snowing so it was even more perfect. The house is tastefully decorated and warm and it has everything you need, fantastic views of the Catskills mountains, lots of outdoor entertainment and most of all peace and quiet!
We cannot wait to go back!"

"We came up for an annual "boys trip" that I do with my father (early 70s) and my 7 and 5 year old sons. From booking to scheduling/logistics and during our trip, Denise could not have been more fantastic and helpful. The house is really great and exactly what it looks like on the website. It's pretty basic on the outside and a nice, smaller space, but the layout is perfect and the finishing is fantastically well done. The whole place was clearly gut renovated and the kitchens and bathrooms are really nice. The bedrooms are nicely furnished with new, comfortable beds and nice linens. My Dad can be funny about beds and he was happy as a clam
The highlight of the place though is the views of the lake, either from the nice screened-in porch or from the living room (which is all glass fronted onto the porch)
The house comes with use of both a powerboat and a canoe/kayak and has a nice little dock. My boys fished off of the boat and also off the dock. We are total novice fishermen and the boys were still able to catch 10 fish between them over 2-3 days (maybe 3 hours of fishing in total). The lake is very well stocked and we literally caught fish by dropping lines straight down 2 feet off of the dock. The kids are not long on patience for fishing and so it was absolutely perfect for them
The house is only a 10-15 minute ride to Bish-Bash falls, which is a great hike and a really neat thing to see. Everyone had a great time with that. The house also has a firepit in the back and lots of dry (covered) firewood, so an early evening fire and s'mores was super-easy and fun
Just an absolutely great experience for everyone and we will definitely be back next year!"
