"We just got back from a week at Willow Lake and we had an amazing time. We had a large group (12 people) ranging from little kids to teens to grandparents and everyone loved it. We stayed in the two adjoining rentals at the gatehouse and it was plenty of room for all of us. Peg was wonderful and even gave us fresh eggs during our entire stay! There was a ton to do from fishing to paddle boating to a campfire by the lake. The property is very private, but still close enough to grocery stores, the colleges (we were there for a Vassar graduation) and sights to be able to do lots of activities including going down into the city for the day. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to get away and relax!"

"This rental was perfect for my mother in law and her children. They came from Missouri to attend our wedding. It was the perfect location: walking distance to Seamon's Park, (where the ceremony was held) and the village where all the local shops and restaurants are. They had a total of 5 people with them (2 adult, 3 young adults) and fit comfortably. They loved the convenience of having a kitchen, washer and dryer during their stay. When they come to visit we will be re-booking this property!"

"Loved our time at Belle Knowle. If you're looking for space, relaxation, a home filled with charm and peace and quiet, this is the place for you! As soon as you drive in you'll feel the stress escaping your body. The barn is filled with beautiful furniture, linens even bath robes. Each room uniquely and tastefully decorated. The grounds are a special touch with the Magic Tree, fresh brook water, gazebo, pond, hot tub and 4 hole golf course complete with sand traps. We think our golden retriever Sadie enjoyed it as much as we did! Enjoyed our time reconnecting with family, sitting around the campfire and creating some fantastic meals in the fully equipped kitchen. This is one of those experiences that the pictures do not do justice of the property or the owners. Definitely recommend this!"

"'We' heard about an exhibit in Copake Falls about camps 'in the area' from the 1920's, and on. One thing led to another and 'We' decided that this was the time for a camp reunion. I immediately Gooogled 'Houses in Copake', and lo and behold, this beautiful house, right on, what we knew as Lake Rhoda (now Upper Rhoda Pond) appeared before me. This was almost unbelievable as most of us had not been back to West Copake for a good 50 years. So, after much arranging, 7 of us made our way, as far as Nashville and Colorado to our beloved lake. The house welcomed us with open arms, and the lake, as if we had never left. We almost immediately took out one of the canoes and made our way around the lake. We ate outside on the deck with a well stocked kitchen to make us feel right at home. We chose our BR's easily, as there were 2 sets of Sisters who shared a bed. The next day, we had about 20 people at the house for lunch, and between the outdoor spaces to sit, the welcoming size of the house, nothing ever felt crowded. The BR's were lovely, clean and cozy. Saturday night 3 more people stayed over and they too, were just as comfortable in the Gurst House. We did not get a chance to go swimming, although the lake was warm, we simply were not there long enough. The whole process of renting the house was easy, due to the professionalism of the rental agent/property manager. I do believe that each of us would go back in a heartbeat, and HAPILY stay for more than a weekend."
