"A lovely little winter get away on a farm. The yurt is unique and well insolated. Kitchen equipment is basic (and from the 70s) but works just fine. Beth is quite helpful the animals are friendly though unless your dog is used to farm animals I strongly recommend keeping them on leash. Also the yurt does smell a bit from the gas fireplace and oven. Overall i found the yurt to be private and romantic and we plan to come back. Oh and is snowed but the streets were well plowed."

"It was absolutely perfect and we had the best time! We rented the house as a base for our extended family to stay during our daughter's wedding at a nearby venue. It is a perfect place for a group of people to enjoy themselves. The beds and bathrooms were great and there were activities for everyone: boats and fishing on the lake, swimming and lounging near the pool, table tennis championships, sing-songs around the piano,, smores at the fire-pit, and amazing views from the deck.
Our family is already figuring out how to stay again.

"The beauty, inside and out, of this property is priceless. The house is very secluded and yet accessible to so much you can be as active as you want hiking, biking, walking, birdwatching, sitting by a stream nearby, swimming at Minewaska State Park, or visiting the Mohonk property closeby. You can also sit on the amazing deck for hours on end, visit nearby towns and farm markets or walk around New Paltz with its good restaurants and college- town atmosphere. The interior of the house is beautifully and artfully decorated and
yet very inviting. The loft bedroom with a King-size bed and its own bathroom is like a retreat in itself. We have been there in all seasons and enjoyed all of them."
