"I stayed here with six other friends over a long summer weekend. The house was both spacious and comfortable and easily accommodated all of us. The back deck is the perfect for grilling sausages, ribs, and anything else you can imagine. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the supplies we needed. The house is a 5 minute drive to the center of town, and fifteen minutes from Tuthilltown Distillery. If you are looking for a calm, peaceful getaway spot that is not far from the city, this is the place for you. I highly recommend staying here!"

"Stayed a week with my family and friends in this lovely little home. We spent most of our time sitting in the grass, cooking, or in the pool, and we couldn't have been happier. The place is tidy but not fancy, comfortable beds, we would have stayed another month if we could have. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. It's a great biking area, a nearby and very inexpensive yoga studio, a food coop."

"My friends and I stayed at the house while attending a wedding in the area. The owner was very friendly, flexible, and helpful. The decor is bold, quirky, and just right. The planter/sculpture in the living room was a big hit, as were the smattering of stuffed animals. There were plenty of kitchen wares, board games, and towels. I loved the fire and seating area by the water and the round booth in the kitchen. There is a screened outdoor dining room, but there were no mosquitoes, so we lounged and dined on the patio. We got out on the water with the float and canoe--what could be better? There are other houses around the pond, but the house feels private, and everyone is there for more or less the same reason. There is plenty of easy parking, and the supermarket isn't too far. The few downsides: The one fold-out bed could stand replacement with a "real" bed. Some sinks and showers had low water pressure. The electric stove could be a drawback for the picky chef. It's a special spot, a world of relaxation. Highly recommended."

"This home is truly stunning! My boyfriend and his fishermen friends wanted to spend a weekend at a lake house for my boyfriend's birthday and they had an amazing time. There are a TON of fish in this lake, they caught 4 nice-sized fish within the first few hours of arriving on Friday. We grilled a ton using the gas grill on the outdoor deck and made a fire on the last night of our stay. The walk to the lake is definitely a bit steep for the kayaks we brought, which was a bit of a bummer, but the gorgeous house and incredible view made up for that extra workout. Plus we had a lot of guys with us to do the heavy lifting, so I shouldn't really complain :) all in all, it was a great stay and Connie is lovely to work with. Highly recommend!"
