"When we pulled up to this beautiful countrified home we were delighted to see an authentic farmhouse on rolling acres of land. It is truly a mix of old rustic charm and modern, clean amenities. The decor had modern flair and clean lines but in a warm and comfortable way. My kids were excited to sit by the fire while I cooked a meal in the fully equipped and perfectly stocked kitchen next to the fireplace. The bathrooms were fully outfitted with the best fittings they make. Showers were relaxing and we had plenty of space for our family of five and our friends in the bedrooms. I highly recommend this getaway---although you feel secluded you are near all of the most adorable towns in the area--just a few minutes away by car. The owners were friendly and accommodating. We will be booking again soon!!"

"We love everything about this place, including the proprietors, their helpers, our apt. ("the tack room"), the land, and the animals. Wonderful, wonderful! Our second visit. The first was this past August. Thanks.

"A lovely little winter get away on a farm. The yurt is unique and well insolated. Kitchen equipment is basic (and from the 70s) but works just fine. Beth is quite helpful the animals are friendly though unless your dog is used to farm animals I strongly recommend keeping them on leash. Also the yurt does smell a bit from the gas fireplace and oven. Overall i found the yurt to be private and romantic and we plan to come back. Oh and is snowed but the streets were well plowed."

"This beautifully appointed home was our base camp for wider exploration of this rich area of activity. It was a pleasure to begin each day with coffee on the deck, surrounded by woods, and to return in late afternoon for reading, hammock time and cocktails. Great wifi and TV set-up. The owner was attentive, and she had left a terrific, detailed booklet on the house, but also hiking routes, outdoor activities in the area, cultural places, restaurants, farmers' markets, etc."
