  • The description doesn't do it justice, this place is amazing!

"A group of friends gathered for a celebration at this amazing house and it was everything we could have asked for and more. The owner greeted us when we arrived, he showed us around and explained the amenities, he was a real nice guy. The interior is enormous and has a good layout. Pool table was in very good shape and there is plenty of room for anything. Nice TV, nice couches, plenty of nice tables and chairs. The bar was large and included very nice bar glasses of all varieties, 3 large industrial coolers like a real bar, nice chairs, and cards and games. Everything you could need. The outdoor grill area was excellent, and we enjoyed sitting around a nice outdoor fire after dark, he even provided the wood! The lake was beautiful with a nice little sandy beach, a sand volleyball court nearby and plenty of open field space. We played everything, cornhole, football, frisbee, wiffleball, and canoe rides! The land is just beautiful and VERY private, you have a whole lake to yourself and all kinds of open fields! I highly recommend this rental home for any type of get-together or celebration. You can tell immediately that it is very well cared for and kept up nice. I just wish that we were able to stay for more than two nights! Enjoy!"

  • perfect winter get-away

"We had a wonderful time at this property for a mid-winter recess. The house is large, (larger than the photos would suggest), easily accommodates 6-8, and has EVERYTHING you might need, including lots of equipment/toys/chairs for toddlers. It was very clean, all the systems like heating were in perfect order. The main floor is on the upper deck, and thus the views are fantastic on the surrounding woods. The house is on a small hill far from any main road, so its very quiet and serene. The whole area is magnificent any season of the year, but with winter snow, its particularly pretty. we saw many dear in the area. The house is close to the ski resorts in the area, and to many of the Hudson Valley attractions. The property manager is amazing, would respond to any questions by email of phone within minutes, and the owners were generous and helpful. We highly recommend it."

  • Fantastic property!!!

"We spent the most wonderful long weekend at Warren's house upstate, very close to Hudson. The property, which comprises three separate buildings, was beautifully done, and incredibly comfortable. The grounds are also landscaped, with a lot of grass, and a delight for children to run around. Warren was also super nice to speak to, which made the stay even better. Was always available when we had questions and made sure the house was fully equipped and spotless when we arrived. We had a 7 week old and a 20 month old with us and chose to sleep in the converted guest house as we would all be on the same level with no stairs. There is a kitchenette, in addition to the bedroom/bathroom, which was perfect for us. The main house has a big kitchen (which you wouldn't know from the pictures), and a sunny dinning room and living room. There is also a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Because of the set up, it is great for families with children but also friends as the house effectively doubles as two. The third building houses a library/bedroom but no bath. We would definitely go back - it was a great stay."

  • Sweet Getaway

"We had a lovely time in this charming cottage! Modern but definitely with a lovely, antique feel. The yard has plenty of safe space for dogs to roam, and the sleeping cabin is one-of-a-kind with wonderful views from its little patio. Quiet dirt road, one car per day(?) yet close to everything. Highly recommend ."
