"We are so glad that we took a little autumn get away.
This house was the best place for the weekend get away we could imagine.
Everything was perfect!
This is a beautiful new house.
We enjoyed eating meals with great view through the huge windows and hiking in the area. Rooms were spotless.
We can't wait to go there again."

"My family and I made such wonderful memories at this house. It was immaculate-so clean and had beautiful updates. The beds were very comfortable and a substantial amount of linens and towels were provided. You truly do not need to bring anything but a bathing suit. We had 9 children ranging from ages 1-11. They had the best time and the lake was very safe. In fact, we preferred Lake Hadlock over Lake George. It was the perfect size to swim, jet ski, kayak and just relax. At night it's the perfect spot to light a fire, roast smores and look at the stars. The village of Lake George is close enough to enjoy as well. We hope to return next summer. Compared to all of the homes on the lake, this one is the one you want! Thanks Judie!"

"My friends and I stayed at the house while attending a wedding in the area. The owner was very friendly, flexible, and helpful. The decor is bold, quirky, and just right. The planter/sculpture in the living room was a big hit, as were the smattering of stuffed animals. There were plenty of kitchen wares, board games, and towels. I loved the fire and seating area by the water and the round booth in the kitchen. There is a screened outdoor dining room, but there were no mosquitoes, so we lounged and dined on the patio. We got out on the water with the float and canoe--what could be better? There are other houses around the pond, but the house feels private, and everyone is there for more or less the same reason. There is plenty of easy parking, and the supermarket isn't too far. The few downsides: The one fold-out bed could stand replacement with a "real" bed. Some sinks and showers had low water pressure. The electric stove could be a drawback for the picky chef. It's a special spot, a world of relaxation. Highly recommended."

"This is a wonderful house right on Lake Oscawanna-- perfect for swimming, canoeing, deer-watching and hiking. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need; also there was a huge gas grill on the deck. Furniture was extremely comfortable (and clean), and there were lots of books and games. Swings and basketball equipment were a bonus.
We were a family of six, from 2 to 70 years old, and we had a ball. The house is well-located for exploring the Garrison-Cold Spring area; we went over to Storm King Art Center, but we never made it to West Point (next time). The whole area was so lush and green that it was a real retreat from the heat and humidity 60-odd miles south. The temperature was extremely comfortable as well; we hardly had to use the air conditioning.
Ellen was a great hostess. It's an accomplishment to maintain a house like this, that's welcoming and comfortable from the minute you open the door. Thank you!"
