  • EXCELLENT

"This property was amazing and the owners (with a house on the property as well-down the road) were also the most gracious hosts. There was one slight issue at our house which was beautiful and immaculate which they attended to thoroughly and immediately. We 4 all had a great time. The pond on the property is best as swimmable for dogs though it is clean if you don't mind typical pond "stuff.""

  • Perfect Country Cottage

"For our mother's birthday we signed her up for a class at the Culinary Institute of America and decided we wanted to rent a house as a family instead of staying in a hotel. This was the best decision we made. The drive between the house and the CIA was very easy. We spent the rest of the time at the house for the most part. It was very comfortable yet spacious enough that we never felt on top of each other. Marcia was a pleasure to work with from the beginning all the way to the end. We have already decided we will definitely be back in the future to spend more time exploring the area and will absolutely be staying here again."

  • Cozy, comfortable, and family friendly home

"We've now enjoyed the home twice and can say that this home offers a very comfortable stay in a great location. The home is well stocked and has a good layout, particularly for families. A short hike will get you to some beautiful falls and a short drive will get you to restaurants, grocery, etc. For Ukrainians, this is very close to Soyuzivka! The owner is available by phone and email and is very responsive. The one negative is that there is no central air conditioning and while generally this is just fine in the mountains, the few days of high heat and humidity made the upstairs bedrooms a bit uncomfortable for sleeping. But there are fans in the house and there can be a generous breeze when the windows and doors are open. Again, we enjoy the home very much and would stay again without hesitation."

  • Beautiful old house for a family vacation with a small kid

"We spent a nice week at the Clermont house: The house was clean and warm. Three bedrooms and a nursery provided sufficient space for two couples, one adult, and a child. The house is old, but well kept and provides a modern kitchen, WIFI, and a large variety of movies and TV series. The garden behind the house was nice to play ball and we also loved to watch the horses on the adjacent farm. The next supermarket is about 20 minutes away, and major tourist attractions like the FDR estate or the walkway over the Hudson are about 45 minutes to drive. The house owner has compiled a nice list of things to do in the area. We also enjoyed the BBQ to go around the corner and the biplane ride at the Old Rhinebeck aerodrome. The communication with the house owner was very convenient, every thing worked out fine."
