"This home was perfect for our long weekend in Rhinebeck with my brother
and his family. The property and home are so cute and kept very clean.
Back patio has furniture, picnic table and grill to enjoy the outdoors. My
10 year old nephew loved the hammock out back by the stream. We worked
the weekend at the Country Living Fair so when we went back to the house
it was relaxing and quiet. Beds were so comfortable. This landlord has
the home equipped with everything you need. She added little touch with
a vase of fresh flowers in the sunroom for when we arrived. Would
highly recommend for a great peaceful getaway yet close enough to
visit Rhinebeck and Poughkeepsie. Wonderful home."

"We spent a long weekend at Barn on the Pond for our daughter's graduation. We celebrated graduation, birthdays and an engagement over the long weekend with numerous meals, games on the lawn, conversations on the upstairs terrace at the fireplace and around the firepit. At one point we pulled together a bbq for 24 like it was nothing. The kitchen was incredibly easy to work in and so well stocked with platters, dishware, cookware etc. Perfect down to the led lights charging waiting to be put in the various holders around the house and the little lights on the banister for outdoor night lighting. The weekend mantra was.....Can you believe this place? Thank you for your thoughtful attention to detail."

"Wow! This was the overwhelming feeling for all of our friends and family who stayed at the Barn. Jon and Tim were the most generous and gracious hosts. The Barn had such a great feeling from the moment we arrived. The open barn doors allowed for the perfect flow of energy between indoor and outdoor space. We had a quite a few 'foodies' in our group and the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. When booking on the Internet you never know what you're going to get. Jon, you truly matched and even exceeded our high expectations."

"Just perfect for my husband and I to celebrate a quiet weekend alone! The house was clean and inviting! Very impressed by it being so well stocked. We bought charcoal and wood and found it there in the shed already, so we used that and were happy to leave ours behind for the next guests.
We spent the first day grilling on the outside deck and later roasted s'mores in the fire pit! We drove into Saugerites and Woodstock which was a very short drive to both!
The next day we spent at the Hudson Valley Wine and Food festival. We hurried home in the evening to catch the sunset on the back deck, and then we proceeded to end the night with appetizers and cocktails at the Lazy Swan right down the street.
Drinking coffee on the deck and watching the horses next door was priceless in the way of peace and quiet. Bed was comfortable and we're early birds so we could appreciate the wake up call from the rooster next door!
The owners were helpful and I would recommend this property and have already! Not to mention my husband and I will most definitely be returning."
