"My husband and I booked this charming cottage as a last minute weekend away and it was perfect! We kayaked on the lake, read, hiked, and went out to a couple local restaurant spots. Def recommend and will be back again for sure!"

"My husband and I were lucky enough to be able to sneak away for a few days for our 11th anniversary and this truly was our "Haven on the Hudson". Everything in the description is accurate and Chad was just truly wonderful!! He was always available to answer my questions and it was so nice to meet him the day we arrived. He even left us a nice surprise in the fridge for our anniversary! The house is just gorgeous and any view out of the MANY windows is breathtaking! The house is well stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms and you need not bring anything except clothes and food. We spent the days fishing from the row boat or the dock, napping (It’s so peaceful I took 3 naps in one day) and when I didn’t feel like going fishing, I just curled up in the recliner with my Kindle in front of that gorgeous view. We were married in the town of Saugerties so we spent an afternoon visiting the church and Seamans park (which is beautiful in the fall with all of the mums) and having dinner at Emiliano’s restaurant (which is where we had our rehearsal dinner and the food was still great). We woke up early one morning to weird sounds and jumped up to see what it could be and it was a group of turkeys wandering around outside. I liked not knowing what I may see or run into. Don’t hesitate…..just book your dream house!! MANY, MANY thanks Chad for making this happen for us!!!"

"We have visited the house again and again and still think it is the best one in the Hudson Valley.
The house itself is so specious, filled with light and very welcoming. It can comfortably sleep 10 people, if opening the sofa beds even 14. Our favorite parts are the master bedroom and of course the kitchen! The kitchen is large, overlooking the pond, with a restaurant grade oven and range. It can host many people for the best friends and family cooking together feasts.
The property is enormous and has so much to offer: from a vegetable garden to a tree house. The best part is of course the beautiful pond where one can swim in the summer and ice skate during winter, or just take a walk around it and get inspired.
The house is fifteen minutes drive from Red Hook and Rheinbach with world class dining, antique shops, and farmers market. 'Another Fork In The Road' restaurant is real gem just few minutes walk.
We've been coming for summer vacations when we were swimming, kayaking and taking walks, as well as winter vacations when we were sledding with the kids, walking on the icy pond, and sitting in front of the fire place.
We can't wait to visit again!"

"We got to meet up with awesome friends which we haven't seen in 8 years. As a property manager in Aspen Colorado , I see the best of the best as houses go. This home is well thought out to the finest of details. Location is the greatest point of this house. Close enough to town that you can take in all that New Paltz has to offer yet far enough away that the serenity is absolutely the utmost for relaxation. Highly recommend you make the time to visit Steve's and Gina's great get away spot."
