"Oh my gosh, what a spot! It's hard to believe we will be in New York City by noon. The greenery, the woods, the stream, the birds, the quiet was best of all. Had a great hike out to the Hudson and that only a 15-minute drive from the house. The house is comfortable with many avenues for relaxing, from the sunny deck to the screen porch, the bedroom is large and deliciously quiet, the downstairs living room the perfect place to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee or the moonrise with a glass of wine. Really special and rejuvenating. Thank you!"

"I've stayed in many a rental home throughout the years, int he Poconos, Hudson Valley and the Berkshires, and this Woodstock home was one of the nicest homes I've had the pleasure to stay.
Unlike many vacation rentals, this is a home that they owner uses, and we benefited greatly from this fact. Too many times have I made do with dull knives, 2 and a half wine glasses, and overused, moldy outdoor furniture - NOT the case here.
The kitchen featured great appliances and cookware. The bedrooms are all charming and comfortable. The property is expansive, featuring numerous items that my active children loved - Swimming Pool, Trampoline, swings - and numerous features I loved - like the playroom above the separate Barn that I could send the kids out to play in, when they woke early in the morning.
The house is a 5 minute drive to the center of Woodstock, so it is wonderfully located to enjoy the best of the country, with easy access to shops and restaurants.
If you are planning to visit Woodstock, you cannot go wrong staying here!"

"Had a wonderful weekend staying at this property. The space was exactly as advertised and the owners could not have been nicer. Lea and Jeff were also very helpful with information about how to enjoy the experience."

"We rented this delightful home to serve as a residence for our family as we gathered to have a memorial service for my in laws in Stockbridge MA. Our family consisted of 6 adults and 5 children ranging in ages from 4 to 10. Monica was a big help from the beginning with suggestions as how to proceed. She was also very responsive in responding to questions before our arrival and during our visit. The children loved the large yard, the favorite activity being hide and seek in the yard and house. The house included everything a family could wish for. There were scads of DVDs suitable for adults, children and families and many CDs for the music lovers. For the sports lovers, there were soccer balls, basketballs, baseballs, bats, a bounce back, badmitten, croquet, etc. The dining room table seated 11. The house was essentially child proof. We didn't have to be trailing the children every minute for fear that something would be broken. The kitchen was well equipped with every appliance and utensil that one could want; basic cooking/baking items and herbs were supplied. Monica left a grocery card so we could take advantage of sales as well as a drug store card. The house had near by neighbors, but was private. A full size washer and dryer was included that our family found so useful. After the service, several people came back to the house for a meal and visiting. The house was perfect to host a number of people, because of size and serving supplies such as baskets and trays available. The beds were comfortable. Lastly, the house was big and spread out enough so that people could get away from each other for alone time, so everyone got along. The family all felt that the week we spent together, at what we called "the farmhouse", was wonderful and one that we might do again."
