"Three friends and myself stayed at this property for the weekend. We were delighted with the space. It was like staying at one of our homes, with many more amenities. We will be renting this space again."

"We can't say enough wonderful things about this property. The house is super cozy with an effortless blend of country kitsch and subtle elegance. Our favorite room was the screened porch, which is perfect for after dinner drinks or games, and the oversized chef's kitchen is another highlight. The grounds are huge, with a big raised dock (we had dinner out there and it was magical), diving board, canoe, wooden raft, swing, vegetable garden (we harvested fresh kale and basil for a homemade pesto and sampled fresh cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and sugar snap peas) and firepit. The master bedroom and downstairs are room are both extremely spacious, while the other two rooms (with an adjoining bathroom) are cozier, but still lovely. We had a few questions about the place when we arrived and the owner could not be nicer or more prompt. Red Hook and Rhinebeck are a short drive away, and there is a lovely farmer's market on Fridays in Milan. Some of our favorite spots were The Burrito Stand, Bread Alone and Hudson Valley Distillers. We can't wait to come back!"

"A retreat from the hustle and bustle. The host are welcoming and accommodating. The house is just as described and very clean. The bedrooms are perfectly situated, very comfortable beds and the main bedroom and its bathroom are quite a sight. Perfect romantic get away.
We stayed for three days for a wedding but we will definitely be back for a longer stay."

"First of all, Carolyn was a responsive owner before and during the stay. She was clearly eager to make her home feel like our home (for all too short a time!).
We had two kids, ages 5 & 7, and cousins aged 10 and 12, plus my mom. Stella Farm has raised the bar for vacation homes in our family -- my kids now expect a huge, bucolic yard, a clean, luxurious pool, and a trampoline!
For the adult/parents, too, this house was a dream. The hammock, the garden, the lawn, the pool, the kitchen, the beds -- the linens were as nice as ones at home! -- the porch (omg the porch!). The house was my vision of a country home.
I took a class at Bard College, and my drive was glorious each morning -- with cornfields and farms all around. The town where the house is located is quiet and rural, away from the tourist traffic, but Rhinebeck is a short drive where you'll find tons to do. We explored a number of little towns easily, and mucked about in the numerous swimming holes. There was fruit picking galore and plenty of places to buy artisan foods.
This place is heaven on Earth. Rent it today!"
