  • Adorable House in the Country

"Just back from our weekend in Red Hook for the NY Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. The house is in a peaceful, gorgeous spot, with a lovely front porch that was perfect for a 4pm cocktail. The kitchen and living room are both large and cozy for hanging out in, and the house had everything we needed for the weekend away. Bedrooms upstairs were big and bright and we had plenty of room for the airbeds on the floor. One thing to be aware of is that the internet connection was a bit wonky, so in order to check email or get online we had to walk down to the barn/garage. I've already booked the house for next year :)"

  • Perfect home away from home

"We've had an annual reunion at Pond Bliss for the last five years. This is a wonderful home - very private, but only about 10 minutes away from shopping. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating. This has all the amenities you would want, including a beautiful pond."

  • Idyllic retreat

"Stella Farm exudes charm: from the ancient, beautifully maintained farmhouse, to the great lawn with its intriguing variety of trees, the tranquil pond with its friendly duck, the beautifully situated swimming pool, the vegetable and herb garden across an old white bridge that spans a stream. One sleeps beautifully on the hotel-grade linens! The owners graciously provide all amenities: a stocked cupboard, garden games, books, a fine collection of CDs, and so many tables inviting great dinner parties - on the screened porch, = on the deck, in the kitchen, and in the dining room! By day there is an abundance of bird life; by night, a proliferation of stars. There are fruit farms all around, Bard College with its fine festival, Yoga and Pilates in Rhinebeck, the glorious grand mansions along the Hudson, and,for lazy rainy days at home, a special craft room set up for children in the house."

  • Too short a stay

"My wife & I stayed for 2 nights while attending a seminar at Omega. Due to the seminar there wasn't much time to enjoy all the cottage/property had to offer. Someday we would like to come back for a few days of just relaxing."
