"I hosted a girls weekend/bachelorette party here and it was wonderful! There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy time together before we went to dinner in the dining area, late night huddled together in the living space and the next morning in the kitchen discussing our adventures. The rooms were charming and the property absolutely lovely. I would definitely recommend !!"

"This is a wonderful little cottage in a great, quiet location in the Hudson Valley, not far from some great hikes along the Hudson. Also, it's nice being close to Rhinebeck; its weekly farmers market and big modern grocery store made it a cinch to stock up for our stay. The cottage is very well-equipped with excellent Wi-Fi and a kitchen with everything you'd need to cook. The cottage is nice and bright -- decorated in mostly cream colors -- and the view of the creek from the back is so lovely. Loved the old wooden floorboards and exposed beams, too! Even through the cottage is somewhat close to the street, it feels quite secluded because of all the lush greenery in the front yard.
The quiet country road on which the cottage is located is great for running and biking. I even saw some scarlet tanagers and a great blue heron on my run, so I imagine the area would be ideal for birders. The queen bed was very comfortable (we didn't use the full one), and the AC in both bedrooms was more than adequate. The only downside is that the tap water is somewhat sulfuric, which I gather is common in Dutchess Country, so we found it necessary to buy big jugs of bottled water and/or let the tap water sit out on the counter.
All in all, an excellent stay!"

Gorgeous home, perfect for getting ready for our wedding!
"This was the perfect place to stay before I got married! I shared the home with my bridesmaids, and we had so much fun getting ready in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The owner was wonderful to work with, and we even did our "first look" here and took advantage of the beautiful scenery for pre-wedding photos! I highly recommend staying here for a weekend away or during a special event. Beautiful, peaceful, and convenient with everything you might need!"

"We rented the house for a long girls weekend. We are a bunch of friends who went to college together over 50 years ago. Four of us stayed at the house and others came over for food and visits. As soon as we arrived at the house, we knew we had really lucked out. Our hostess, Elizabeth, was there to greet us and show us around. She could not have been more gracious. The house is nothing short of spectacular. Everything was spotless and everything worked. The house is incredibly spacious and when there were 20 of us there we still had plenty of extra everything including very comfortable seating. In fact, as beautiful as the living room is, we never used it. The views and sunsets were fantastic -- not to be missed. Elizabeth gets an A+++ in decorating. She has cornered the market on charm and comfort. There were fresh flowers in every room and next to every bed a note pad and pencil -- in other words, she thought of everything. Like the house, the grounds are beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"
