"We reserved Hardenburg Road for the week of our daughter’s wedding. Three of us arrived four days in advance. It was dark when we pulled in but as soon as we found all the light switches we were delighted. The kitchen was the largest and best equipped I have experienced in either a vacation rental or a timeshare. There was plenty of room for my sister’s family when they arrived. A crib was provided for her grandson and the six-year old granddaughter made full use of the jungle gym. We grilled out and then relaxed around the fire pit. Once the house filled up, it was especially nice for the parents of the bride to have the spacious master suite as a private retreat. Donna was a great host, responsive to our e-mails, providing alternate routes and answers to our questions. The wedding was spectacular. Hardenburg Road was a close second."

"First off I wanted to thank Carroll for being such a WONDERFUL down to earth person! Secondly we didn't want to leave our stay was to short.
The house was warm and inviting everything you need to enjoy yourself. We walked, fished, row boated and drank in the suns warm rays and we felt rejuvenated with in hours of arriving here.
The blue sky goes on forever and I got lost in the puffy white clouds and light breeze.
Our pup enjoyed romping around the tremendous back yard it was awesome that Carroll let us bring him he is so much apart of our family and he enjoyed himself completely.
We loved the deck over looking the beautiful lake, the Lilies looked like the Water-Lily pond at Monet's home in Giverny what a incredible site!
We grilled ate and drank till we were full then the sounds of evening birds crickets and frogs lulled us to sleep at the end of our day it was so soothing.
We found the beds and pillows to be comfy and cozy although all we needed was a sheet to sleep with it was quite warm a day or two, but there are tons of fans to cool you off during the day and it is quite cool at night very comfortable.
There's much more I could say about this piece of tranquility, as it left quite a impression on us that we will keep close and plan to visit again when we can steal some time away from our hustle and bustle world. Thank you again Carroll !"

"What a great place ! love the fire pit with the grill grate that swings over it, once we found that I think all the food we ate was at some point cooked over it. The location is amazing, beautiful nature all around ! watch out for bare feet on the deck though"

A lovely house -minor inconvenience (easily fixed)
"This home is truly lovely - nicer than the pics can show. The living room features cathedral-style ceilings that really make the entire space feel very open and spacious. The deck overlooks a small creek, and is a great place to do some morning yoga or just sit and relax. The kitchen is well stocked, and the local food markets have wonderful organics, so one can cook great meals, if so inclined. Our one small detail - apparently due to a miscommunication, the house had not been cleaned when we arrived, so we had to go into town for a few hours while the housekeeper and her family came at the last minute to deal with the issue. Though this was indeed disruptive, Noa and Raphael were sympathetic and agreed to refund us for the day."
