  • Love this cozy place!

"I stayed here with 10 of my friends over a 3 day weekend and it was magical. Fighting back to the cold NY weather in front of a fireplace and with a hot tub can't be beaten. The house is also lovely with a ton of personality (record player! piano! books everywhere!), comfortable beds and a living room and dining room big enough to hold all of us. Everyone had a bed; the 4 couples had a full, queen or king and our 2 single friends had twins. Love this place, definitely coming back in summer - great hiking nearby when the weather is good enough."

  • One of kind

"We have visited the house again and again and still think it is the best one in the Hudson Valley. The house itself is so specious, filled with light and very welcoming. It can comfortably sleep 10 people, if opening the sofa beds even 14. Our favorite parts are the master bedroom and of course the kitchen! The kitchen is large, overlooking the pond, with a restaurant grade oven and range. It can host many people for the best friends and family cooking together feasts. The property is enormous and has so much to offer: from a vegetable garden to a tree house. The best part is of course the beautiful pond where one can swim in the summer and ice skate during winter, or just take a walk around it and get inspired. The house is fifteen minutes drive from Red Hook and Rheinbach with world class dining, antique shops, and farmers market. 'Another Fork In The Road' restaurant is real gem just few minutes walk. We've been coming for summer vacations when we were swimming, kayaking and taking walks, as well as winter vacations when we were sledding with the kids, walking on the icy pond, and sitting in front of the fire place. We can't wait to visit again!"

  • Loved this place!

"We just used this home for our family reunion and can recommend it heartily. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and charming. The cousins never got bored, between taking the paddle boat or canoe out, playing air hockey, billiards, swimming in the pool or playing hide and go seek all over the house. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. We had J&J Gourmet from Red Hook cater our evening meals...they were helpful, timely, responsive, reasonably priced and the meals were quite delicious and varied. We all agreed that we'd look forward to using them again in the future!"

  • Wonderful property!

"My wife and I got married in nearby Beacon. We rented all of the Willow Lake properties for the weekend and had an amazing time. The property was beautiful and very comfortable. The owner even gave us eggs from her chickens and some honey made on site! Would highly recommend anyone travelling to the area to stay there rather than one of the downtown hotels."
