Recent Hudson Valley property reviews

"This is a spacious and perfectly furnished home. We went there looking for rest and relaxation during our trip in the rural Hudson Valley, and we found just that! Tucked in the mountain range amongst trees and nearby farmland, this home truly is a hidden gem. The owner, Jen, is also wonderful to work with!"

  • Paradise on the Hudson!

"I just came back from 4 amazing nights at this property and I have nothing but great things to say about it. I’m already planning my next trip back! First of all, Chad was a delight to deal with. He answered all of my many many questions prior to arriving and was always only a text message away once I arrived. Now about the property…… WOWZA! It’s totally secluded- no neighbors, just you and nature. The driveway itself is a quarter mile long! I’ve rented many properties, but this is the first one that was fully stocked! All you need to bring is your clothing, and groceries. While I was there, we went fishing- caught 15 fish, and cooked them up in the fabulous kitchen. We BBQed on the deck and had lunches on the dock. I even picked fresh cherry tomatoes and jalapeno peppers from the grounds for breakfast. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It was like sleeping in my own bed at home. There’s a town and shopping centers nearby (maybe 15 minutes away), so you’re still able to reach civilization. However, once you arrive, you won’t want to leave the house! I truly loved my stay here and I can’t wait to return! I hope to be a yearly renter :)"

  • A little slice of heaven on earth

"Between the huge lofts, full recording studio (whaaat? why the heck not?), insane, outdoor, light up (beer pong)table, bathtubs and shower with HOT running water IN THE WOODS (there are showers inside but indoor showers seem a bit overrated after getting all scrub-a-dub-dubbed in the good ol' wilderness), tree house and ginormous fire pit, I can't imagine a better place for a group of 15 or so friends to rekindle the magic. Richie and friends were the most gracious of hosts, ensuring that all of our needs were met. We had a problem with our phone when we arrived and Richie came over right away, got everything fixed up and we were able to let our mommas know that we arrived safely. What a guy!! Really, seriously, I can't wait to come back year after year! Art Farm for lyffeeee. :)"

  • Wonderful Country Weekend

"My group of friends and I (12 of us) spent 4 days at this amazing house. It's a short cab ride (15 minutes) from the Rhinecliff station (Amtrak) or about a two hour drive from NYC. We spent the weekend canoeing in the large pond in the back yard, exploring the farm (goats, sheep, cows), lounging outside during the day and hanging by the large fire-pit at night. We didn't leave the house unless it was go pick up stuff at the local supermarket (which was about 15 minutes away). The owner/caretaker, Amanda was professional and very accommodating to any requests. I would definitely recommend."
