  • LOVE the SIZE

"So we LOVED this home, its location and PIZZA Planet. The size was perfect for the large group ranging in ages 4-81. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and dining room were perfect and had everything!!!! My small, issues were the frig would not stay at temp. but that being said there was a freezing cold frig in garage a few feet away. The foldout couch had some springs missing so we could not use but that being said we found a mattress upstairs in the closet that we brought out. And last but not least we could not get the tvs to work in smaller bedrooms, but really not a big deal because we were out an awful lot. Im sure this all has been resolved because it was months ago and Kevin was very attentive to our needs. Other then those very small 3 things, our children loved the the game room, the back yard and the HOT tub. We had a blast and everyone had ample space. Thanks Kevin for kindness and accommodating all of us from TEXAS."

  • Family Reunion - Countless Memories

"Celebrated my mother's 70th this summer by serving up three generations in one house for one week. There was something for everyone - actually, we did not even get to all the stuff we wanted to do. The house was immediately comfortable, while having all the amenities necessary to have a great vacation. The kayaks were used multiple times a day, as was the hot tub. The lakefront offered us endless hours of fishing. My 8-year old caught her first fish (and then some 10 more!) over the course of our week's stay. My husband & I ran each day along the lake and the sights of deer, beaver, bunnies and more were so fun. We went cherry picking at a nearby farm. We ventured off to the Catamount Adventure Park - a zip-line galaxy of fun. We climbed Bash Bish Falls - yes, even our matriarch made the excursion! And the very best was the view each and every day - rain or shine - of the lake itself. Each of us stole quiet moments in the early morning to watch the sunrise and later that day would return for a festive gathering around the campfire. The rainbow that decorated the skies on our final night completed the entire experience. We would love to make the Copake Lake House an annual trek...fingers crossed we will be able to!"

  • Restful, Quiet Getaway

"We are so fortunate to have found this property. It is a perfect getaway from the city. The cabin is situated in the woods which keeps the place cool even on the hottest days. Down the hill is a river on which you can go tubing. If you want to get in the water this summer, but don't want to deal with the beach, this is a great alternative. The owners live close by and are very friendly and accommodating. They have done a fantastic job decorating the place so that it looks elegant and casual. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. We will definitely be returning."

  • Adorable House in the Country

"Just back from our weekend in Red Hook for the NY Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. The house is in a peaceful, gorgeous spot, with a lovely front porch that was perfect for a 4pm cocktail. The kitchen and living room are both large and cozy for hanging out in, and the house had everything we needed for the weekend away. Bedrooms upstairs were big and bright and we had plenty of room for the airbeds on the floor. One thing to be aware of is that the internet connection was a bit wonky, so in order to check email or get online we had to walk down to the barn/garage. I've already booked the house for next year :)"
