"My daughter and I stayed at this beautiful log cabin while attending the HITS horse show. It was located within eight minutes to the show grounds, which was awesome. The apartment in the house was much larger than I expected and was equipped with everything you would ever have in your own home. If we go to HITS next year, I will definitely be trying to book this house again!"

"We've been looking for a vacation spot that feels like country, where you can walk down the road and be surrounded by trees, where there's both good hiking and good food nearby. It's surprisingly hard to find. This cottage fit the bill perfectly, and more. The house is nicely furnished, neither fussy nor bland, but with warm personality. The bed in one bedroom is soft, the mattress in the other room is firm (but nicely so). The kitchen has a good variety of utensils and pots and pans: we were able to easily roast a chicken we picked up at the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market. The garden is lovely, and the hammock over the stream enchanted my teen son (and me!).
It's a relaxing, welcoming home. We'll be back!"

"I'm not much for reviews but just had to say that while the weather was cold and rainy outside, spending time in this home with two nice fireplaces and very comfy hangout areas was a pleasure. The house is beautifully decorated and the owner has a caretaker who prepped the house impeccably for us. Too bad he didn't cook us dinner..."

"We had a great time for two weeks. Plenty to do nearby and the house is cozy and the kitchen is very good. Our dog loved it as well. Having no tv was a real plus, we played Monopoly and other games with our two grandchildren and got totally connected. Nice setting in the woods, quiet, peaceful and cool. I definitely recommend it."
