"Our family enjoyed a great weekend at the Cottage. The owners of the Inn were very nice and helpful with answering questions about local places/events (both on the phone beforehand and during our stay). The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The paddle boat looked fun (we saw other B&B visitors paddling back to the dock) but we didn't have the opportunity to use it between other daily plans and intermittent rainy weather.
We ate dinner at some nearby waterfront restaurants which were also terrific, and had a great time exploring Greenwood Lake and nearby towns of Warwick and Tuxedo. It's great that the lakeside cottage is so close to everything: wineries, the drive-in, bowling, antique shops, farms & orchards with country shops. All good things can be found off of Rt 17A!
Our family would definitely think about coming back and have no problem recommending this place to friends."

"The Appalchian is an absolutely beautiful property with something for everyone...skiing, biking, hiking, swimming in the heated pool or hot-tubbing. We stayed in Joe's 1 bedroom unit with pull-out sleeper sofa in living room...conveniently located in front of the gas fireplace. We had two separate adults sleep on the pull out and both stated they had a great night's sleep and didn't wrestle with the typical sleeper sofa bar in the back. The unit was very clean and the kitchenette had all equipment needed from cookware to utensils, small appliances like a coffee maker, toaster, and microwave, a small dorm size fridge and two burner electric stove. The size of the unit was perfect, with a small balcony off the l/r, a huge well-equipped b/r with deep tub and free-standing shower. The bedroom has a very comfortable king-size bed with tv and closet with Windows opening to the deck. The deck overlooks the pool, hot tub, and bottom of mountain. Parking was super convenient in the underground garage and the room is only a short walk from the elevators. All directions on the ins and outs of the property were clearly written and easily understood. We stayed for 8 days and I can't say how perfect it was and will definitely be recommending Joe's properties in the future. If you want excellent accommodations at a fraction of the regular rack rate...Joe's property is a hidden gem."
