"We stayed for two nights, with 7 adults and 8 children. We rented both the upper, and lower residence. The weather was perfect, so all the kids stayed in tents in the backyard. The entire weekend was spent at the foot of the lake, on the lovely patio. We never left the house, except to take the boats out on the lake. Everyone in our group, young to old, had a fantastic experience. The lake is wonderful for swimming, and it is very quiet and tranquil. The house is clean, in good order, and served us well. Looking forward to another visit next summer!"

"We reserved Hardenburg Road for the week of our daughter’s wedding. Three of us arrived four days in advance. It was dark when we pulled in but as soon as we found all the light switches we were delighted. The kitchen was the largest and best equipped I have experienced in either a vacation rental or a timeshare. There was plenty of room for my sister’s family when they arrived. A crib was provided for her grandson and the six-year old granddaughter made full use of the jungle gym. We grilled out and then relaxed around the fire pit. Once the house filled up, it was especially nice for the parents of the bride to have the spacious master suite as a private retreat. Donna was a great host, responsive to our e-mails, providing alternate routes and answers to our questions. The wedding was spectacular. Hardenburg Road was a close second."

"We had a fantastic vacation week at this lake house. Location is private and quiet. House is comfortable & has just about everything you need. If you love to swim, kayak, hike or just sit and soak in nature on the waterfront than this is the house to be. Road ends a few houses down and turns into the Appalachian Trail so there is no traffic and it was a nice road to do my daily run on every day."

Perfect Location for Endurance Challenge at Bear Mountain
"Friends and family gathered here to run in a half marathon at Bear Mountain and the home was perfect. We were able to enjoy a meal together outside on the deck with gorgeous views and the calming sound of the stream. There was also a Rangers game on, so the open family room with a large TV really saved the day. To prepare for the race we sat in the hot tub. Kay was extremely helpful in recommending a restaurant to enjoy as well as where the nearest shopping was. We went to the local farmers market and a great coffe shop called Cold Spring Coffee Pantry. We were conveniently located for our race and everyone had a lovely time at the home."
