  • Amazing country getaway!

"For my 30th birthday, I rented out this beautiful country house for a large group of my friends. The pool and cabana were the perfect place to spend the day. The rooms and kitchen were fabulous, a wonderful place to stay and get away from the big city. The house has alot of amenities and is perfect for groups or families. I definitely planning on staying here again!"

  • Peaceful, relaxing spot in the Hudson Valley

"Stayed at the house twice, once during the winter and most recently in early May. It is located in a very quiet, rustic area of the Hudson valley, perfect for getting away from it all. We live in Manhattan, so the location is very convenient, only an hour and a half away. It was so nice to sleep with the windows open and waking up to the sound of birds. The bedroom is beautifully sunny and bright, and the living room has a nice fireplace and comfortable couches for lounging. Also enjoyed eating outside in the yard, as there is a nice stream at the edge of the property. We found it to be a good value and a great spot for a casual weekend in the country."

  • Great getaway for a little one

"We were looking for a place to take our 2 year old son out of the city and the farm was perfect! The cabin is adorable, much nicer than the photos, everyone we met were lovely and helpful and their really were chickens, rabbits, baby goats, and other animals right outside. We did not have much contact with the owners, email was never answered, the pizza was only offered on Saturdays and the breakfast was $15 a person so we did not do it. When we did meet them though, they were gracious and even found toys for our little one. With nearby hiking, berry picking, petting farms, swimming holes etc and only two hours from New York, I recommend it highly."

  • Amazing Family Vacation

"My family (myself, my husband, 9yr old son, 6yr old daughter and my mother in law) stayed at the cabin for a week. It was a relaxing, rejuvenating, all around enjoyable week. The cabin is perfectly appointed with all you could need for your summertime stay. The water was the main attraction: fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and more. In addition, we were able to spend time simply sitting at the waters edge and watching the birds (heron, hawks, ducks, kestrel, and swifts to name a few) and other lake wildlife and listening to the peaceful sounds of the lake. The area is not overrun with motor boats or load parties. It was truly peaceful. The lake house interior was very clean and comfortable. There is a separate bedroom with bath for my mother in law and a very large shared bedroom space for the kids and us. There is air conditioning, but during our August stay we simply left the windows open and enjoyed the constant cross-breezes provided by being on the point. We mostly cooked at the house, but have to recommend Samascotts homemade ice cream and white kernel corn on the cob. Thank you, Roman and Pat for opening your home to us. It was wonderful."
