  • Five Stars, Hands Down!

"We had an awesome time in Hudson, mainly because the accommodations were so stellar. The house is clean and decorated in a chic, Mid-Century style while the backyard/deck area is spectacular. We had high hopes for the property and if far exceeded our expectations. Marty is really wonderful to rent from, he's really responsive, super friendly and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. My fiance and I rented the house with another couple over Labor Day weekend and hope to rent again sometime this fall!"

  • A Great Place to Be

"We rented this very comfortable, well-stocked house for a week this summer. For our enjoyment, inside were books, games, and TV/DVD; outside, as well as a wonderful view of the lake, were kayaks, a canoe, swings, and hiking paths. It felt so good to be there, and we liked it so much, we rented it for another week."

  • Perfect Place for a Perfect Wedding

"Where can I begin!? We approached Dan with the idea of hosting our wedding at his beautiful home. He was very receptive to the idea and had a lot of suggestions for what we could do. Dan was a pleasure to work with. He let us stop by on several weekends to take measurements and pictures of his property. He contacted the town to make sure everything was squared away as far as any permits required for hosting the event. He provided us with vendor recommendations for pies and party rentals. He also made sure the lawn was mowed, installed a new gate, and planted new flowers that bloomed beautifully on our wedding day. Now to the house! We stayed from Thursday-Sunday (wedding was on Saturday). The house is immaculate. Kitchen has everything you need with open space to the living room. It has a warm and welcoming feeling where you can just lounge around all day. There are 4 large rooms including the attic which offer a ton of space. Waking up in the morning and taking a walk around his property surrounded by trees was a great feeling. There are a few things nearby: ShopRite, A&P, takeout food options, as well as a short drive to downtown Warwick, NY. Mountain Creek is nearby with skiing in winter and a water park in the summer. The wedding turned out wonderful. We had a DJ which used the direct power source of the house with no issues. And we laid a 40X40 tent in the yard for the guests and dance floor with a smaller tent to house the food. We also went down to the farm property which was a perfect backdrop for our professional portraits. To summarize: Dan and his wife are awesome and are super easy to work with. They make you feel as if you knew them your whole life. The house is amazing and the property surrounding it is just as beautiful. All in all, just a great experience we'll never forget. Thank you so much for making it such a memorable time! Thank you! Jeanette & Omar"

  • For a serene and beautiful escape from the City!

"Came here for a few days to enjoy the quiet surroundings and beauty of the surrounding area and was not disappointed. The house is lovely and well-equipped for comfort and cooking your own meals. Cute kitchen and comfy family room with skylights and lots of windows that allow you to enjoy the wooded view. Not far from Kent, CT and other small hamlets in NY state. Check out the nearby farmer's markets in summer! I rode my bicycle easily into Kent for breakfast one morning - lovely ride. Great perks: dog friendly if approved by owner; fireplace that owner allows you to use (as of this writing); baby grand piano (I enjoyed practicing while there); ample patio with well-maintained grill and wood stove for cool evenings outside. I must add that the owner is lovely and accommodating, with a warm sense of humor. She holds your comfort and satisfaction in high regard."
