  • A home from home experience!

"We took our two Wheaten Terriers with us to this wonderfully welcoming home. It had everything we needed. A comfortable and immaculate oasis from the city. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and the property manager Kim was delightful. We strolled into the village center each night for dinner and our dogs just had a blast running around the large, enclosed garden. We have no hesitation in recommending this home. Just be prepared for amazing sleeps, mit's so quiet:)"

  • Great location

"Arborcrest served us very well as a base for a fall weekend. Best thing about it is the location, less than a mile from a vast state park along the Hudson that's laced with trails, and 5 minutes to Rhinebeck and its many shops and restaurants. It's a studio apartment on the owners' property -- completely separate from their house and very private and quiet. It's vintage 1970s, spacious, very clean, and well equipped. The owners were extremely responsive to our one suggestion, getting a Wi-Fi booster for better reception for future guests. We recommend it!"

  • Beautiful Retreat!!!

"We were in Hudson for my niece's wedding on September 27th, 2014 at Oak Hill. I had chosen this property as we had 4 people in our party and did not want to stay at a B&B. We prefer to stay where we can "spread out" and enjoy a beautiful natural setting! This property was exactly as portrayed online and even more beautiful than expected! We enjoyed seeing wild turkey in the morning and gorgeous sunsets and deer in the evening. The home is brand new and so comfortable and well kept! The amenities are 5 star from the bottle of wine upon arrival to the comfortable linens and robes provided. Like staying in a 5-star hotel but with the added perk of our own house with privacy. PERFECTION!!! The home is located only about 2 1/2 miles from downtown Hudson, but feels like you're in the middle of the country with spectacular views of the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains. We would definitely rent this property again and appreciate the time the owners have put into creating such a warm and welcoming home!"

  • Family Reunion - Countless Memories

"Celebrated my mother's 70th this summer by serving up three generations in one house for one week. There was something for everyone - actually, we did not even get to all the stuff we wanted to do. The house was immediately comfortable, while having all the amenities necessary to have a great vacation. The kayaks were used multiple times a day, as was the hot tub. The lakefront offered us endless hours of fishing. My 8-year old caught her first fish (and then some 10 more!) over the course of our week's stay. My husband & I ran each day along the lake and the sights of deer, beaver, bunnies and more were so fun. We went cherry picking at a nearby farm. We ventured off to the Catamount Adventure Park - a zip-line galaxy of fun. We climbed Bash Bish Falls - yes, even our matriarch made the excursion! And the very best was the view each and every day - rain or shine - of the lake itself. Each of us stole quiet moments in the early morning to watch the sunrise and later that day would return for a festive gathering around the campfire. The rainbow that decorated the skies on our final night completed the entire experience. We would love to make the Copake Lake House an annual trek...fingers crossed we will be able to!"
