  • Summertime in Hudson

"We had a lovely time in Michael's house. The interior is nicely decorated and full of idiosyncratic curiosities and art to enjoy. You can tell the house belongs to an artist. Michael couldn't have been nicer as a landlord. The transactions were very easy. The house is quiet, yet convenient to Hudson street shops and restaurants and an easy exit location for going to events at Bard or across the river. The backyard was great for barbecue and drinks outside. Enjoy!"

  • Family Reunion - Countless Memories

"Celebrated my mother's 70th this summer by serving up three generations in one house for one week. There was something for everyone - actually, we did not even get to all the stuff we wanted to do. The house was immediately comfortable, while having all the amenities necessary to have a great vacation. The kayaks were used multiple times a day, as was the hot tub. The lakefront offered us endless hours of fishing. My 8-year old caught her first fish (and then some 10 more!) over the course of our week's stay. My husband & I ran each day along the lake and the sights of deer, beaver, bunnies and more were so fun. We went cherry picking at a nearby farm. We ventured off to the Catamount Adventure Park - a zip-line galaxy of fun. We climbed Bash Bish Falls - yes, even our matriarch made the excursion! And the very best was the view each and every day - rain or shine - of the lake itself. Each of us stole quiet moments in the early morning to watch the sunrise and later that day would return for a festive gathering around the campfire. The rainbow that decorated the skies on our final night completed the entire experience. We would love to make the Copake Lake House an annual trek...fingers crossed we will be able to!"

  • This place is amazing...seriously

"I'm not much for reviews but just had to say that while the weather was cold and rainy outside, spending time in this home with two nice fireplaces and very comfy hangout areas was a pleasure. The house is beautifully decorated and the owner has a caretaker who prepped the house impeccably for us. Too bad he didn't cook us dinner..."
