  • Restful, Quiet Getaway

"We are so fortunate to have found this property. It is a perfect getaway from the city. The cabin is situated in the woods which keeps the place cool even on the hottest days. Down the hill is a river on which you can go tubing. If you want to get in the water this summer, but don't want to deal with the beach, this is a great alternative. The owners live close by and are very friendly and accommodating. They have done a fantastic job decorating the place so that it looks elegant and casual. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. We will definitely be returning."

  • Peaceful.

"Absolutely lovely retreat. Comfortable and well-supplied. Quiet and serene location. Perfect home base to make day trips to Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Great Barrington and Lenox, Bash Bish Falls and lots of other attractions. Local sweet corn was superb!"

  • Wonderful property!

"My wife and I got married in nearby Beacon. We rented all of the Willow Lake properties for the weekend and had an amazing time. The property was beautiful and very comfortable. The owner even gave us eggs from her chickens and some honey made on site! Would highly recommend anyone travelling to the area to stay there rather than one of the downtown hotels."

  • Great getaway for a little one

"We were looking for a place to take our 2 year old son out of the city and the farm was perfect! The cabin is adorable, much nicer than the photos, everyone we met were lovely and helpful and their really were chickens, rabbits, baby goats, and other animals right outside. We did not have much contact with the owners, email was never answered, the pizza was only offered on Saturdays and the breakfast was $15 a person so we did not do it. When we did meet them though, they were gracious and even found toys for our little one. With nearby hiking, berry picking, petting farms, swimming holes etc and only two hours from New York, I recommend it highly."
