"We just had an amazing end of the summer stay at Sea Train. The house was clean, bright and cheerful. A wonderful layout made it comfortable for two families to share including all the musical beds that goes along with a 17, 13, 10, and 4 year old gang. The roof deck was a bonus for watching sunrise and sunset. Everything worked well (although we cannot vouch for the TV/cable since we didn't use it at all). Kitchen is well-equipped with all the basics. All beach gear was provided. Davis Park is a sweet community, no cars, no noise. Very basic necessities (beer and milk!) at the local market, but Patchogue is an easy ferry away with lots of facilities (including delivery of stuff to the ferry that you can pick up on the Davis Park side). Casino restaurant is passable for a meal, but eating at the Sea Train and enjoying the house is the ticket. And Gigi and Bob the hosts were very helpful with arrival and departure. Definitely recommend."

"At 70, I have never written a blog before, but our recent stay at this incredible beach house warrants my entering the age of social media. The island has just the right feel, low key without pretension or airs. When you get off the ferry you just feel better. No cars, only bicycles, red wagons and your own two feet. Time truly slows down. The house is spectacular, Open, light and spacious. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors facing the ocean, well equipped kitchen, large dining area and sunken living room for a late night movie. There is an expansive deck off the 2nd floor from which you can throw a stone and hit the beach. The grill can accommodate a small army. The bedrooms are below, light filled and comfortable. Everything is new, modern, functional and easy to keep clean. There is even a ground level foot shower for sand just inside the gate, as well as bicycles and beach chairs. All you really need to bring is food and a bathing suit. The beach is endless and pristine. Only a few yards down a boardwalk from the house. It's the kind of place that you really don't want to leave. My daughter said it was " the best beach vacation ever" (and we have taken many) and my youngest son, an aspiring actor, said, "since returning to classes, whenever I need to relax, I think of being at the beach house". What more can I say? Oh, yes-- the outdoor shower, heaven"

"We have been to Fire Island for more than 10 years and love its quietness and beauty. As we have two young children now we prefer Seaview these days. We absolutely enjoyed the stay in this little treasure! The house is very clean and amenities are all new. The backyard is beautiful and has a big wooden deck. Steve and Jeanne were always reachable and even put two new gates on the deck so our toddler would be safe. The two main bedrooms are huge and the smaller bedroom is connected to the master bedroom which has its own entrance door. The outdoor shower is very clean and nice. The location is perfect as the grocery store and ferry are close but the house is not on the main street. The house is child safe and is well equipped. There are beach chairs and umbrellas in the house and one bike. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back."
