  • Great house on the Lake with wonderful views.

"I recently spent a week in August at the house. My family and I had one of the best vacations we have ever had. The location of this house on Lake Montauk was so enjoyable. Each day my kids would be Paddle Boarding and Kayaking on the Lake multiple times a day. When they were done the would jump in the pool and hang out on the deck over looking the beautiful property. The house had plenty of room for us (we were 8), and could easily hold more. It was in very easy live in condition, so we did not need to buy very much stuff. The owner was a very easy going friendly guy who had the right answer for every question I had. I would highly recommend this house and hope to be back there next summer."

  • Shelter Island

"We leased 4 homes on Shelter Island to accommodate family and friends for a wedding. Of the 4, this home was by far the most popular because it was just so livable. We had every bedroom filled with ages 22 - 28 and the guest cottage with a father in his early 70s. The top floor of the main house lends itself to socialization; the fireplace creates its own ambience; there are ample baths for everyone. It's just a fun house; the rest were all more than adequate but stiff, wooden, and formal. This house is just the opposite. It's for fun!"

  • Beautiful Haven

"I discovered a gem. This was the most wonderful place to stay - I just fell in love with the cottage. It was so cosy and comfortable, and everything in it done to such a high standard, surrounded by beautiful interesting and varied books - always treasured a moment with a wonderful read on the comfy sofa by the log fire when the weather was doing its own thing. Emma and Steve were fantastic, so kind, and it was all beautifully done and run. Beds and linen so comfortable, power shower and coffee machine, very well equipped and everything to make my stay so enjoyable - it was gorgeous. And so handy for everything in town - an A1 location too. I had a bike for trips to Shelter Island etc but didn't even need it for day to day living in the beautiful Sag Harbor - I got the hang of the local buses for travel to East Hampton and surrounds and the Jitney up the road to get to the city from time to time, not that I ever wanted to leave this beautiful retreat! Thankyou both (and Louie!!) for a blissful time spent in your special part of the world - I will definitely be back again soon."

  • Perfect East Hampton Escape

"We were a small group of adults and young children coming from the city during the beautiful late summer, early autumn. We felt so lucky to be able to stay at this lovely home for a long weekend in September after the start of the school year. The house and the grounds are very private, charming, warm and beautifully furnished. The heated pool was amazing. The owners were responsive and very hospitable and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The house is well-located; the fish market, wine store, coffee shop, italian deli & the LIRR all within a block or two of the house. I would highly recommend this house for a lovely & peaceful East Hampton retreat. We would love to stay here again."
