Awesome birthday weekend
"Celebrated my 30th birthday here with a group of friends. The pictures did not do the property justice and the interior was very comfortable and peaceful as well. The location was perfect-- a short 5 minute ride to the town of Sag Harbor, and a ten minute ride to the East Hampton main beach. Helen (the owner) was wonderful to deal with, and returned the security deposit in a timely fashion. Will definitely look to stay here again next time we stay in the Hamptons."

"I stayed in this house with my girlfriend for a week. The house is immaculate, great setting, very private, close to everything important ( the town, the beach, food stores, and farm stands). All the amenities you could want. Highly recommended, would definitely do it again. Alexander"

"I searched far and wide for a house to act as the centerpiece of a feature film I planned to shoot in the fall of 2014 called, "We Only Know So Much." The multigenerational family dramedy required a big beautiful house with lots of history but I soon found that most of the large homes on the East End have been renovated into a generic, aspirational, designer blandness. And then I found Matthew and Barbara's gem on Ocean Road. The house is dripping with timeless charm and beautiful historic detail. From the giant old apple tree on the sprawling grounds to the wide plank wood floors and sunny kitchen with the long white table, the place offered classic beauty everywhere the camera was pointed. If you want to experience the traditional Hamptons of the old guard, with a few necessary modern conveniences, just a few hundred yards from the ocean, this is where you want to be. You can see for yourself when the movie is released in 2015."

"I wanted to take the time to tell you we had a great stay. The apartment is great. Perfect local. Very clean and comfortable. The sunsets, local dinning, and the people, were magnificent. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you."
