Great seaside home
"House is in a great location overlooking the sea. You get to see the sunrise from your bedroom over the water. Very quiet and peaceful. Short walk to the most amazing beach. Westhampton village is also really great. Lots of restaurants. Free kids' shows on the village green every week. Just had a great time there."

"We spent 4 days at this lovely house at the end of a very busy 3 week sight-seeing holiday and we felt instantly relaxed. The decor is lovely and charming and the summer room at the front of the house is the perfect place to take your morning coffee or your evening wine.
Everything was in good working order and well cared for; the place was spotless.
The beds were comfortable and, just a mere jump from the floor! (You like your beds big in the U.S. :) )
There are excellent laundry facilities too in the basement. The house is well-stocked and Diane was kind enough to let us use whatever was remaining in the fridge - including some wine!
The house comes with a pass to Rogers beach which is beautiful and clean and has restroom, changing and food facilities.
We were lucky enough to meet our hosts, Diane and her husband when we arrived and they patiently answered all our questions about the area and gave us tips on restaurants, shops and beaches.
My husband managed to lose his wedding ring in the house the day of our departure and luckily the cleaning lady found it after we had left. Diane emailed us straight away to set our minds at rest and arranged to have it posted out to us - we are so grateful to her.
I have no hesitation in recommending this accomodation."

"My husband, young baby, and I spent a month here last summer and had an wonderful time! The location is ideal - located a very short walk to the beach and a nice bike ride to town. The house is very small but extremely bright and comfortable. The spacious deck is one of its best features and makes you truly feel like you are AT the beach. The owner was extremely responsive to anything that we needed. We would definitely look forward to returning in the future!"

Beautiful Bungalow with a Scenic View and Convenient Location
"I stayed here for a week in August 2015. I wasn't expecting a very, very nice and very clean bungalow with a beautiful view of the ocean. I thought all beach houses are dark and damp and reek of mildews. This one is the polar opposite. It's situated at the end of a gravel road off the Old Montauk Highway, about 100 meters up a gentle slope. So it's in a dry and semi-secluded spot. The bungalow is converted from the back of a large house with its own entrance, basement, outdoor patio and shower. It's a two bedroom with a full kitchen, bathroom and living room. The windows in the living room and the master bedroom open out to the ocean just 200 meters below. It was fantastic. I thought the house was too big.
The house was very, very clean. Ample towels and liens were provided. I didn't use the kitchen at all. But if you like to cook, the kitchen is fully stocked. I couldn't find any faults with the house. Maybe it was too quite at night, being at the end of a gravel road. I'm used to the city.
One could just walk across the road to the beach. The owners provided beach chairs, umbrellas and other beach accoutrements in the basement. So just bring your body and soul and enjoy.
I initially drove to the village center on the first few days. But it turned out that the house was just a 15-20 minutes' walk to the very center of Montauk. So I walked for the rest of the week. It's very safe walk to and back from the village at night. Just be sure to bring a flashlight or use your iPhone as the gravel road leading to the house was unlit and there were deers and rabbits dancing around in the dark.
I highly recommend this house."
