  • Stylish Hampton's retreat

"Perfectly located between East Hampton, Southampton and Sag Harbour. Beautifully maintained house, gardens and pool. Interior is beautiful. Owners were extremely helpful and were happy to help with anything. The Dockside restaurant in Sag Harbour was one of our favourites. Schiavoni's Market in Sag Harbour was also very good with a large choice of food. Mecox beach had fabulous surfing but would advise taking a picnic as there is limited food choice available. We would defiantly come back to the house and would recommend it highly to others!"

  • Amazing Summer House

"I loved staying at this house! I would and have recommended to friends and family. The photos on the site don't do it enough justice. The pool and backyard are lovely and spacious. I went out with friends and we spent lots of time just relaxing on the deck or even using the already provided grille. We didn't even have to worry about the neighbors because it was private and the surrounding neighborhood was lovely and quiet. The house was spotless on arrival and had great, comfortable furniture. The kitchen appliances were almost all new and well equipped. The owner was incredibly gracious and prompt with helping us with anything we needed and recommended a few places we could go nearby to both sightsee and dine. Not to mention that there's a very nice bay only a few minutes away. A great listing and I cannot wait to go back next year!"

  • Great place for families or small groups

"4 of us - 3 adults and one 5 year old kid - had a fabulous week here. The house is spacious, very clean and well kept. The kitchen has everything you'd ever need for cooking, baking and entertaining and the outside grill is great. Plenty of beach equipment too. The small private beach down the lane is a little small as the sand is being eroded, but the public beach is so close and it's large and mostly sandy, plus has climbing frame, picnic areas, showers, toilets and little concessions hut. If you or your kids are into fishing you can head to the entrance to the marina inlet just there and the kids are almost certain to catch something (which is the main thing). Once you get the Riverhead parking pass ($15) from the beach you can also head over to Iron Pier Beach on the Sound which is possibly even nicer. The outside shower at the house is great when you come back all sandy. BTW - Other fishing can be had over at Breakwater Beach, but make sure you park in the state parking and walk to the pier / down to the inlet to avoid tickets. (Riverhead parking pass doesn't cover this location.) Waldbaums is just under 4 miles away in Mattituck and there are plenty of other local stores and restaurants to keep you fed and watered. The wineries are super close so you could cycle if you didn't want to drive. The owners are really friendly and helpful, but leave you to yourselves if that's what you prefer. The area is really great and everyone so friendly. If the little area outside the back door with the BBQ and table joined up with the yard, which is on the side of the house, I wouldn't be able to fault this place."

  • Wonderful getaway

"We brought two young daughters as well as elderly parents to this great getaway. This is a wonderful house on a quiet and secluded part of the North Shore. There are lots of deer to be seen and the nights are loud with crickets and other animals. The outside area was great and the kids loved it. It well maintained and bigger than a football field. The house is bigger than expected from the picture, probably because the yard is so large in comparison. We went to the Smithtown Short beach everyday and it was quiet with calm waves. Anywhere on the North short, expect the beach to be more rocky and watershoes are a good idea. Even though the house was secluded, it's close to conveniences, including a Safeway and Whole Foods nearby. With small kids, we never had to eat out. The train station was also very close which was great as our party didn't fit into one car."
