Beautifully maintained home - A pleasurable escape from the City
"I recently stayed with my girlfriends for a weekend reunion and wine tasting in the North Fork. We were so incredibly pleased when we arrived. The house is beautifully maintained and decorated. It has a fabulous lawn area, great deck and outdoor seating, and truly stunning views of the LI Sound. There was also private beach access to a pebbly, but swim-able beach. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend including plenty of kitchen ware and cooking/serving pieces, glassware, two grills, beach chairs, beach towels, linens, lawn games, outdoor shower, etc. They had a lovely screened-in porch where we ate breakfast and dinner. The bedding in each room was of a high quality and the towels were plentiful. They also had a washer dryer, which we did not use, but was nice to know was available.
The owner was lovely to deal with and very responsive. Their property manager lives nearby and was also great. It was nice to know she was local and accessible if there were any problems (of which there were none!).
The town of East Marion is a quiet farm town/fishing village. Greenport, which is >10 minutes away is more built up and has everything you need. Overall there is so much to do in the area and we enjoyed visiting the local vineyards, Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, and restaurants like Little Creek Oyster Farm. Fork and Anchor, located >1 mi from the house is a great deli/prepared foods spot and has some grocery items as well. The Orient Point Ferry is also >10 minutes away and provides easy access for those coming from New England. I would highly recommend this property. We can't wait to return!"

"What a beautiful home! Our owner, Tommy, thought of everything. What a great person to work with. The house sleeps 8+ comfortably. The landscaping was beautiful. House was big and well maintained. Close to Greenpoint and Orient. It was a great base of "operations". My friends and I couldn't have been happier with our stay here. Would be my first choice my next time on the North Fork!"

"Wonderful home on a beautiful lake just 100 yards from a private beach on Orient Harbor! Cathy has the place outfitted "to the nines." Everything you need in the kitchen, plus what you may never need, and we entertained 14 people one evening, some eating inside (where the air conditioning was perfect), others eating on the deck, where we watched the Osprey fishing in the late afternoon. Ducks and geese and other birds I don't know provided an ongoing show from the deck. Kayaks, bicycles, canoe, ping pong table, great grill, comfortable beds (real mattresses) and modern bathrooms were very welcomed by our family. Couldn't have been a better home for our family. After two weeks we began to think that it was our home! thank you, Cathy!"

"Great sized house with easy access to anywhere in the North Fork. Plenty of room for all guests. Al is very easy to deal with, although be sure to proactively reach out if you need him. House is equipped with everything needed for a great weekend."
