  • Perfect getaway for parents and a toddler

"Our experience at Joy's house was everything the profile on this website promises. Her adorable, well-kept cottage was the perfect home base for a fun 3day weekend with a toddler. We picked pumpkins, played on the beach (and at the playground on the beach), went to wineries where she could run around, took bike rides through gorgeous fields of grapes...when it rained, we went to the wonderful aquarium... it was perfect. And after our daughter was in bed, my husband and I had a blast hanging out by the fire pit in the back yard. Joy went above and beyond offering customized recommendations for us. We couldn't be more pleased. Obviously, I highly recommend it!"

  • A LIttle Slice of Heaven

"My husband and I had a wonderful time in East Marion. The cottage was perfect!! It has been completely updated and it is beautiful!! The location is idyllic, with Lake Marion in the back and the Peconic Bay across the street. Our host was very generous and helpful, he knows the area extremely well and recommended many nice places to eat and see. We would definitely stay at the cottage again."

  • Thanks for a great vacation!

"We spent a wonderful week at this house! It's beautifully renovated, the kitchen is so well stocked (I've never rented a house that was so well-appointed!), and we had plenty of linens and towels. Plus, the house was immaculate when we checked in, and it quickly became clear that the property is very well-maintained. The owner was responsive and pleasant to deal with, too -- I've never rented through vrbo.com before, so I'm very glad that this experience was so positive! I really like the location, as it's within walking distance to a small park, gourmet deli, the lavender farm, and a nice farm stand (and a short drive into town and to many other places of interest). But really, you don't even have to leave the property, because the house, yard, and pool are so nice! And it's not pictured, but there's a neat converted garage/pool house leading out to the pool deck -- what a great surprise that was! Thanks again for a great week. I would happily rent this property again!"

  • Private escape with incredible decks and views

"My extended family and I spent an idyllic week at this magnificent home. There were 6 adults and 8 kids and it never felt crowded. The decks are recently painted and gated so the kids were able to walk & crawl around safely. The house is stocked with games and pool toys and there was never a dull moment. A bay beach and farmers market are within walking distance and there are many good restaurants and wineries nearby. Donna, the owner, was very helpful - showing us how everything operated and making suggestions for activities."
