  • Fantastic accommdation with wonderful and very helpful hosts

"The apartment is immaculate, spacious and exactly as described. It’s walking distance to the beach and within a very reasonable driving distance to many of the attractions on Long Island. The hosts, Manny and Amal, are a delight and very welcoming. Not only did we find homemade cookies and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, but we also had a few homemade meals prepared by Amal. We felt right at home, and we would highly recommend staying here. Manny and Amal, thank you so much for your hospitality. We had a fantastic time, and are really enjoying the zaatar, cookies and tomatoes you gave us."

  • Amazing Place and Amazing View

"I needed a place that was big enough and elegant enough to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday party with our closets friends. We are group that often travels together. We all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. We love to cook and eat and in the enormous kitchen we made some fantastic meals. The upstairs living room has a magnificent view and was central for hanging out and eating. All of the rooms are spacious and the number of bathrooms accommodated all of us, but the master suite is perfect. We have two kids under three so they needed to sleep with us in the room and we were able to do so without us feeling cramped. Waking up to see the LI sound was great. Overall this house was lovely and with they only complaint I have was that we couldn't spend more time in and in the area. We will be back..."

  • Great place for families or small groups

"4 of us - 3 adults and one 5 year old kid - had a fabulous week here. The house is spacious, very clean and well kept. The kitchen has everything you'd ever need for cooking, baking and entertaining and the outside grill is great. Plenty of beach equipment too. The small private beach down the lane is a little small as the sand is being eroded, but the public beach is so close and it's large and mostly sandy, plus has climbing frame, picnic areas, showers, toilets and little concessions hut. If you or your kids are into fishing you can head to the entrance to the marina inlet just there and the kids are almost certain to catch something (which is the main thing). Once you get the Riverhead parking pass ($15) from the beach you can also head over to Iron Pier Beach on the Sound which is possibly even nicer. The outside shower at the house is great when you come back all sandy. BTW - Other fishing can be had over at Breakwater Beach, but make sure you park in the state parking and walk to the pier / down to the inlet to avoid tickets. (Riverhead parking pass doesn't cover this location.) Waldbaums is just under 4 miles away in Mattituck and there are plenty of other local stores and restaurants to keep you fed and watered. The wineries are super close so you could cycle if you didn't want to drive. The owners are really friendly and helpful, but leave you to yourselves if that's what you prefer. The area is really great and everyone so friendly. If the little area outside the back door with the BBQ and table joined up with the yard, which is on the side of the house, I wouldn't be able to fault this place."

  • Wine Tasting weekend

"I recently stayed in this home as I had arranged for a wine tasting weekend with my husband and friends. The home is beautifully appointed and our favorite spot is probably the huge dining room where everyone can gather. The owner Frank is very easy to work with and the home is so close to all the vineyards & farms etc. we had a wonderful time!😃"
