"Thanks so much for the awesome weekend! The house is tucked away and on a great little plot of land with a spectacular view - the lawn was so lush too! The breeze from the water was great and the kitchen was nice and updated. No complaints here! We would love to come back someday :-)"

"I had a wonderful stay at Pam's home along with two of my girlfriends. We were looking for a quiet place not too far from the city to spend a weekend relaxing and resting before the busyness of the new year really took hold. This home and location fit the bill! Just the right space and the right atmossphere for a restful and recharging weekend! It felt so much like home that we didn't want to leave!
The home is well appointed and has all of the basics that you'll need for a weekend away. We also enjoyed the short walk to the nearby beach and caught the sunrise in the mornings. Overall great location, wonderful host and we hope to be back again!!!"

"We had a lovely time in this very convenient home. Lois met us on arrival on Monday afternoon and returned the following Monday to wish us well on our return to California. Because the house is on several levels, it was a great choice for those who wished to rise early (we saw the swans out on the creek) and for those who wished to "sleep-in". The pool was wonderful and enjoyed by all. The creek was fun for tubing and paddle-boating. Part of our family stayed in this house and part of the extended family had another vrbo house a couple of miles away. One evening we had dinner for 24 out on deck and up by the pool, and there were dishes and silverware for all. Weather was lovely all week. The rehearsal dinner was at the Yacht club, the wedding was in garden at Sylvester Manor with dinner in a large "circus" tent in the meadow near Gardiner Creek, and the brunch on Sunday after the wedding was served from "Rolling in Dough" food truck (lots of fun with great pizza). My granddaughter was a beautiful bride and we all had a wonderful time. I would recommend this house for a big family gathering or for a small retreat time. We did not have time to read any of Leon Uris' books, but I had read several of them previously. The owners have very eclectic taste and some great posters. So glad I found this property."

"I love how bright and airy this house is and how warm it is with the wood burning stove. We stayed for a few nights this fall but have also been here in the summer and enjoyed the pool and the outdoor shower. It is close to Louse point which is so pretty and great for swimming or just biking around. The house is perfectly located that we could be in Amagansett, East Hampton or Sag Harbor is no more than 15 minutes. Sue is a great host. We are definitely coming back!"
