"The price was right for this very accommodating apartment, so close to the metro stop (literally about 4 houses down). There were six of us (five adults and a one-yr old), and we all had a bed (crib and high chair provided for infant). There were air mattresses available and plenty of room if you want to sleep more. We had everything we needed, and the owner was so easy to work with and so nice! She even let us borrow umbrellas when we were surprised by rain. The backyard was fun and nearly made me forget I was in a big city."

"My crew had a great time. We were 2 couples and a total of three boys 9-16. The bunk room was great for the younger boys and the teenager parked himself in the living area. The bedrooms up stairs worked great for the grownups. Yes, a bathroom on the ground floor would be nice. The game room saw a lot of use, Air Hockey was the most popular sport. The outdoor seating area made for a great gathering area in the evenings. The short walk to the 7 train made for easy trips into Manhattan. We could not believe how close we were to the National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows park. The area immediately around the house had a great local flavor. Shops and restaurants (Tortilleria Nixtamal across the street was quite a treat) were very good. Aamir was a great host and really helped us get familiar with the area. The Empanadas Cafe was really good and not much of a walk away. We got an Italian ice and the Lemon King of Corona on the way back. The Louis Armstrong House was 15 min or so walk away and was well worth the visit. We can recommend this place without reservation."
