  • Awesome stay in LIC

"My husband and I had a lovely stay in the loft in April, 2015. We have visited nyc numerous times over the years but this was the first time to stay in Long Island City. It's a surprisingly convenient location--just a block to the subway entrance and only one stop to Grand Central. Amazing! We were there for a family wedding, with social events scheduled all over the city and we had no trouble getting around. There's no shortage of restaurants and great bars and coffee shops nearby--We even had one wedding event at acclaimed John Brown's BBQ--it's within walking distance from the Loft! And 51st Ave Cafe (just around the block) became our morning routine--the loveliest people run it, the coffee is excellent and the meals are house made and delicious. Felt very comfortable coming and going at all hours. We hardly noticed, but the loft is right across the street from a police station! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it."

  • Great time was had by all!

"Highly impressed. From the initial communication about reserving this condo, Quaisar was SO accommodating. He called me personally, answering the numerous questions I had and was there at the condo to meet us upon our arrival. He is just a sweet in person as he was over the phone. He had stocked the fridge with water, milk, juice, eggs, and bread. The perfect host! Even though I was nervous of the location (first time VRBO user), please do not judge this book by its cover. Exactly what you see with the pics! The inside was perfect for our stay. The short walk to the subway was a breeze, and the quick ride to the US Open as well as Manhattan was easy too (around 30 min - but didn't seem that long). Each night, us 3 ladies, would walk back to the condo from the subway, and never felt scared. This was very comforting for us. We have stayed in Times Square in the past and traveled to the US Open that way...I know we have found our new "spot". Thanks again Quaizar!!!!!!!"

  • Oasis in the city

"As I sit in this lovely apt. on our last morning here, enjoying a cup of tea, I just had to write to say how much we enjoyed our stay. I’d say the main attraction of this apt is location. Right off of 5th Ave., 3 blocks from the Empire State Bldg Observatory Entrance, and 2 subway stops from Times Square, this apt is ideally situated for exploring the city. I counted 3 main subway stations within walking distance of the apt! The apt is on a direct line to the 911 Memorial (R Train), to Times Square (R Train), Lincoln Center (no. 1 train) and to Bloomingdales (No 6 train). There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Take a right out of the bldg and walk to the end of the block for a great convenience store/deli, where I purchased our breakfast each morning to bring back to the apt. Delicious bagel sandwiches! S'Mac, on 33rd and 3rd is also an easy walk from the apt and offers wonderful dishes at a great price! There is also a Bread and Butter on 5th Ave and 31st that literally offers anything you could want to eat, from Korean food, Japanese food, Italian, to NYC deli. They offer a great hot buffet that is very reasonable. The owner was very responsive to any requests I had and was a true delight to work with. He provided a detailed account of the neighborhood and the location of all amnenities one might need, including laundry, gym, and grocery stores, as well as restaurant recommendations. The apt itself is very comfortable and provides everything one might need during their stay. Tom has thoughtfully provided umbrellas in the closet, tea and coffee in the cupboard (along with many other condiments and toiletries) and the bed is one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. There is a full bathroom, including a tub. Those who are in the city for business will appreciate the large desk and desk lamp along with free wifi! The a/c worked wonderfully and was much appreciated during the muggy summer days. I can’t think of a single thing lacking in this apt. It was just my son and I on this trip, but there is a blow up mattress, so I’d think a family of 3 would also be quite comfortable here. The only caveat I would offer is that it is a 4th floor walk up, which might be challenging to the elderly or those with very young children, but for us, it was a welcome way to work off the delightful food we enjoyed in the city. Thanks again Tom for a wonderful stay."

  • Great place to stay!

"We were very happy about our stay in this property, the house is cozy and beautiful. It provides everything we need. The location is very convenient, a few blocks to the subway, there is a park close to the house, my kids had lots of fun there. We will definitely go back if we visit NYC again! Also we will recommend it to our friends. Thank you Aamir!"
