  • Comfortable and Great location!

"My husband and I were in New York for Thanksgiving to visit our son who lives in Red Hook. This condo was only a few minutes away from his apartment. The F line subway and a great coffee house were on the corner. Sylvia was wonderful to work with. This condo was perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner and a great place to relax after walking most of New York. It was very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Charming appartment

"This is a wonderful appartment that we recommend highly. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom has been renovated to a high standard and the bed was comfortable. As the weather was so hot we especially enjoyed breakfast in the garden each morning. The local area has loads of shops, cafes (a great coffee/ice cream place just round the corner), bookshops, cinemas, etc. Brooklyn Bridge is easily reached on foot, and the subway to Manhattan/Coney Island is just a block away. We'd certainly stay here again next time we visit NY."

  • Excellent Value

"The owner (Debra) clearly takes pride in the appearance of this apartment. It is very clean, and has everything we needed for our week (eg. Toilet tissue, washing liquid, hand soap, garbage bags, towels, etc) The area seemed very safe during the day (we didn't venture out at night since we were travelling with young kids) and is within easy access of four subway lines. Parking on the street is achievable, although may involve driving around the block in search of a spot unless you get lucky (we were lucky 2/3 times). We cooked almost every night and the kitchen was well appointed. The lounge and dining were comfortable, and the only drawback was the bed was firmer than you would find in most places. Overall, if you can handle stairs this property is worth a look because it's safe, secure, spacious, has street parking, is modernised, and is very good value. Thanks Debra"

  • Everything we needed

"We needed a place for a week that would allow us to bring our small dog while visiting with family. The apt is in a lovely, safe neighborhood with everything you would need within easy walking distance. We never had any trouble finding a parking space on the street. I was thrilled to have an opportunity to refine my parallel parking skills that had gotten a little rusty, living in suburbia. The Subway, restaurants, parks, grocery stores, -All easily accessed. As for the apartment - it was clean and very well supplied with linens. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, etc.and the stove was so clean I am not sure it had ever been used but we used it and it was great. Have an adventure! This is a garden level apartment in a beautiful old townhouse that is obviously loved and well maintained. So, know what you are booking, look at the pictures and you won't be disappointed. Johanna was wonderful to work with. I received quick responses to questions. Booking the reservation was easy and I hope we have the opportunity to return."
