  • Very enjoyable stay

"Our family (4 adults) spent 4 nights in this very comfortable apartment & were completely satisfied with our choice. It is excellent value, especially when compared to a hotel stay. The photos on VRBO represent the property accurately, the master bedroom & living-dining area are spacious. Apartment was very clean. We didn't prepare meals other than breakfast, but noted that the kitchen had all the equipment we would have needed. Wifi worked well. The brownstone neighbourhood is quiet & lovely, with a good selection of little restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Both Prospect Park and the Brooklyn museum are within walking distance. There is direct access to midtown Manhattan via the nearby subway lines. The trip takes 25-30 min. Marie-Line responded promptly to our email enquiries & was available to answer the one question I needed ask after arrival. We recommend this apartment."

  • a nice place to stay, might use it again

"We stayed at Susi's place for a week end in May 2014, we really liked it. The place is spacious, clean and comfortable. It has two large independent bedrooms and a smaller one between them, accessible from both bedrooms, but with the doors that can be closed and provide privacy. That was a nice arrangement for us, a couple with a young child and a grandmother. The place does not have a sterile feeling of a hotel or a rented apartment, but of a home of a very interesting person, with nice books, etc. Thanks to Susi for being a good host, and we might come back."

  • Great locale, well maintained.

"I stayed in RM3. No kitchen which was fine. The place was immaculate and had everything you needed from brochures to some throw away plates and cutlery. I would like to have seen a microwave and electric kettle in the room. I loved the decor and the view from my room. A relatively quiet street and was closed to rail as well as restaurants and park."

  • Beautiful Ditmas Park Home - As advertised

"Our family of 8 were priviledged to vacation in this Ditmas Park, Brooklyn home during the first week of July, 2014. We were happy that the home was exactly as advertised. Daria was very helpful by providing information before our visit and when we arrived, there was written information about the home and surrounding places and things to do. With four generations of family in attendance, the home was perfect for us. The home occupied the 2nd and 3rd floors. Even though my mother is 80 years old, she was able to navigate the stairs. The younger ones stayed on the 3rd floor. The home was clean and we felt very comfortable. For any considering this property, it is located in a very good area that is within walking distance to public transportation. It was about a 40 minute train ride to Penn Station. We also walked to restaurants of which my favorites were the Oxcart Tavern that had a wonderful lamb lasagna and Milk and Honey where Mom and I had breakfast during our stay. My grandson enjoyed the children's playground in the backyard and made new friends with the neighbors. All in all, the house and location was a win-win. I would highly recommend to anyone considering staying in Brooklyn. Thank you Daria and Doug."
