  • Great hosts and townhome.

"Our experience at this cute little townhome was very nice. There were 4 of us and we all stayed very comfortably. This remodeled property was clean and very well-kept. We had absolutely no complaints about the townhome, with exception of a running toilet that we pointed out at the end of our stay, which certainly was no big deal. Tony immediately apologized and was going to have it taken care of ASAP. We didn't do much cooking (who spends time cooking when you are in New York?), but the kitchen had the things you need, which was all we cared about. Tony and Christine were awesome hosts and very responsive both before, during and after our arrival. There is a sweet small grocery store literally within a block, which was quite handy, and we did buy a few things we needed at the little "department" type store just across from the grocer. We flew into LaGuardia and took Uber (not a taxi). The travel time was about 20 minutes and cost us about $28 total. Not too shabby!! This was our first experience with the Uber app. If you have not used it, download the app before you get there. It's private people driving you around in lieu of high taxi fares. We used them 3 times while we were there to go to and from the airport, and one evening when we were too exhausted to do the subway to get home after a night a eating and drinking downtown. I do, however, have to point out that the neighborhood was a bit challenging for our tastes. We were safe and never felt threatened nor pan-handled, but we did have to walk to subways and buses through some very sketchy "activities" at times. The street the property is on was quiet for the most part, but Lexington Avenue had it's "moments." I would have to rate the neighborhood low. All in all, for the price, don't expect Manhattan...but this property was worth the stay. We experienced New York and all walks of life during our week there... and that was okay with us. Afterall, it's those interesting and colorful experiences that you remember most... right? We had plenty of fun and enjoyed our time. Thank you so much Tony & Christine."

  • Great accommodation in a leafy quiet environment very close to Central Park

"The property was in a great location conducive to restaurants, the subway and shops including convenience stores. It is close to Central Park for a extensive or short walk and some of the major museums are nearby. The Owners were cooperative and helpful and willingly accommodated our needs and requests."

  • Patric 42

"We were 5 guys from Sweden/Norway who spent one week in Will's appartment. It's in the middle of Little Italy, straight down in the basement from the street. Bars and retaurant just a few steps from the apartment. Shopping, subway around the corner. It felt like a very safe street/neighbourhood with a lot of people moving around there 24/7. A nice litte shop that is open 24/7 just a block away were you could all sorts of things. Will as a "landlord" was very helpful all the time, no problems with check-in or check-out. I would definitely come back to Will's place again!!!"

  • Perfect New York Apartment

"I cannot agree more with the reviews below. Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters stayed here for a 4 day sightseeing trip to New York. The apartment is in a great location, easy walking distance to the two 72nd Street Subway stations, giving easy access to all downtown areas with minimum changes; also walkable to the Lincoln Center. It has its own entrance on W74th Street. There is a good range of local shops and restaurants including the amazing Fairways (super)market. The posted pictures don't really do justice to the apartment itself which is huge and furnished and decorated in exquisite taste and air conditioned. Should you want to cook, the kitchen appliances and equipment are very comprehensive. Last, but by no means least, Sheila is a most welcoming, attentive and considerate host. I would not hesitate in recommending it."
