  • Great studio!

"My husband and I love staying in Chelsea because it's away from the madness of Midtown yet easily accessible to the ACE subway line on 8th Ave (only two blocks away). Michael is a terrific host; he even brought us some homemade plum cobbler! The studio is exactly as pictured. It's light and airy and very private and quiet since it is at the back of the building. It's very well laid-out with everything one needs. Two great breakfast places are nearby--Sullivan Street Bakery and Trestle on Tenth. There's a new coffee shop across the street and Joe (I think of it as the East Coast Peet's) is a short five minute walk away. The Highline is close by and is a beautiful place to walk. We are already looking forward to our next visit. This space is head and shoulders above a cramped hotel room; one of the best HomeAway experiences we have ever had!"

  • Visit from Australia for

"What can I say but fantastic. The apartment is everything you could dream of for a New York apartment and much, much more. Wonderful space, wonderful amenities, view to die for, excellent position and most importantly wonderful owners. Shani and Albert, the owners, are an absolute delight. Why would you want to stay anywhere else. If I was able to give it 10 stars I would."

  • great neighbourhood and great apartment

"Quartier très agréable a vivre, calme, à l’abri de la folie du centre tout en étant extrêmement bien connecté pour toute activité. Appartement très joli et fonctionnel, accueil très chaleureux par Michael qui tout au long de séjour sait rester disponible et de bon conseil tout en étant discret. Un séjour enchanteur. Very nice and calm neighbourhood, perfectly connected to the center and for all activity. Very nice and functional apartment. Michael is a great host, always available with good advice. We had a perfect stay."

  • Great Apartment in Chelsea

"Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 5 and 12) stayed 9 nights in this apartment and were very comfortably accommodated. The location was excellent, very close to the 1, 2, 3 (150 metres) and F, M (300 metres) subway lines, with loads of places to eat in or grab a quick takeout, grocery stores etc all very handy. Fantastic Pizza can be picked up either on 6th ave or 7th ave, both less than 10 minutes walk from the front door. Great communication from the property manager, and the very friendly owner arrived just as we were about to leave. The apartment itself was quite large, with all the necessities for a totally self sufficient stay - fully equipped kitchen, huge fridge and even includes a clothes washer / dryer - a definite bonus for a travelling family. Everything was in good to excellent condition, and although we had heard the noise of New York was going to be inescapable, we found this apartment to be very quiet - definitely no background noise could be heard in the bedroom that would keep you awake. Would definitely recommend this apartment for couples and families of up to 4. It is up 2 flights of quite steep stairs, but this was only a shock the first time - once your luggage is up it is not an issue."
