great location, great host
"The studio is just as described: sunny, clean and perfectly located east of midtown. It is on the 6th floor and quiet by NYC standards. The building gym is small but clean, and was either empty or had 1-2 other users when I went. The location of the studio is very convenient to the subway and Grand Central Terminal (5 minute walk), and there are great little eateries and coffee shops within 1-2 blocks. Tim was extremely hospitable and responsive, and kindly allowed us to check in early (at 7 am!) since we arrived on a red-eye from LA and the previous occupants had checked out the day prior. I will definitely try to stay here on future trips to NYC."

"Tremendous location a 2-minute walk from the Met. Very clean and quiet, looking out over a backyard you don't expect on the upper east side.
There isn't a closet or armoir. We'd prefer having an armoir to some of the other furniture."

"Excellent hosts, easy to get settled in, perfect studio apartment, completely self contained, everything you need to make yourselves at home while enjoying the city. Clean, private, any concerns were immediately rectified (getting the tv to work). Its a great location, a few blocks walk either direction to two subway lines, lovely quiet neighbourhood. You don't have to overdose in the more touristy hubbub when you stay in a great location such as this. Easy walk to either Central Park or Riverside Park, and a great place to return "home" to whenever you need a break from your activities.
Things we enjoyed (most via subway - buy a multi-day pass for best value) - walking the High Line, shopping, attending concerts, a comedy club in the Village, the Natural History Museum (2 -3 blocks away)."
