"We were so lucky to find this gem of an apartment. Fabulous location, central but still very quiet at night. From the outset of booking we found the owners so helpful and full of advice(we had great fun trying to pay the deposit....I never thought it would be so difficult to part with money!!) Once we arrived the apartment was immaculately clean and just as advertised. We had a couple of small issues that Vera was super quick and efficient to resolve. The area is quiet yet has all the necessary facilities(pharmacies/supermarket/cafe/takeouts etc.). We walked quiet a bit with our baby stroller and having Central Park on our doorstep was a huge bonus. Everything that one would need for a city break is provided in the apartment,we had an amazing stay thank you so much Vera:)"

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. First of all, absolutely great location. Just 2-3 blocks from the A-C-E subway line and Columbus Circle and the Park are just a few blocks away. We walked to all of the shows on 42nd to 46th Street. Great restaurants up and down 8th and 9th Avenues. The apartment is easy in and easy out, with no elevator or stair issues. Second, the inside of the apartment is great. Everything you could need and more. Full, high-end kitchen with all appliances and utensils. Bedroom is separate from the living room which is great if one of you wants to stay up and watch the big screen. Bedroom faces an extremely quiet court yard, and we slept late and peacefully!! We will definitely try to book this apartment on our next trip to NYC."

"This is the first time staying in this apartment and we loved it. It is nicely decorated (photos are very accurate), very comfortable and quiet, clean, and has all of the conveniences anyone would need. The location, one subway stop from Lincoln Center, is excellent with restaurants, grocery stores, and bus/subway stops within close walking distance. After a long day of sightseeing the city, it's nice, and convenient, to come back to the apartment and rest with a glass of wine before going out to eat or preparing dinner (the kitchen is fully stocked). The owner responds promptly and is very helpful. We look forward to staying again."

"Our experience at this cute little townhome was very nice. There were 4 of us and we all stayed very comfortably. This remodeled property was clean and very well-kept. We had absolutely no complaints about the townhome, with exception of a running toilet that we pointed out at the end of our stay, which certainly was no big deal. Tony immediately apologized and was going to have it taken care of ASAP. We didn't do much cooking (who spends time cooking when you are in New York?), but the kitchen had the things you need, which was all we cared about. Tony and Christine were awesome hosts and very responsive both before, during and after our arrival.
There is a sweet small grocery store literally within a block, which was quite handy, and we did buy a few things we needed at the little "department" type store just across from the grocer.
We flew into LaGuardia and took Uber (not a taxi). The travel time was about 20 minutes and cost us about $28 total. Not too shabby!! This was our first experience with the Uber app. If you have not used it, download the app before you get there. It's private people driving you around in lieu of high taxi fares. We used them 3 times while we were there to go to and from the airport, and one evening when we were too exhausted to do the subway to get home after a night a eating and drinking downtown.
I do, however, have to point out that the neighborhood was a bit challenging for our tastes. We were safe and never felt threatened nor pan-handled, but we did have to walk to subways and buses through some very sketchy "activities" at times. The street the property is on was quiet for the most part, but Lexington Avenue had it's "moments." I would have to rate the neighborhood low.
All in all, for the price, don't expect Manhattan...but this property was worth the stay. We experienced New York and all walks of life during our week there... and that was okay with us. Afterall, it's those interesting and colorful experiences that you remember most... right? We had plenty of fun and enjoyed our time. Thank you so much Tony & Christine."
