The best place to stay in NYC - we'll definitely come back!
"We stayed in the apartment for 11 nights and simply loved it! The apartment is perfect, the location suberb and the owner - Peter - SO nice!!
When booking the apartment, the contact with and information from Peter was even better than hoped for. Quick replys on emails and not at problem that we arrived after midnight (as we've experienced elsewhere). He'd even put out some fruit if anyone needed a snack! It's very convenient that he lives next door if anything is needed (not that it was).
The apartment is spacious - everything you'd need is there (towels, linen, tea towels) - and the city right outside the door (awesome location)! We would highly recommend this rental - and will definitely be coming back!"

"I used to live in New York and I've seen a lot of rental apartments. This apartment was very nice for a rental and had a great layout for our needs. It is not a luxury place and is up 3 flights of stairs but I was very happy with it. There was a nice large bedroom, the living room was in a separate room with a door, and there was a small dining area/entrance foyer. We were able to have our children sleeping in the living room but still have access to the rest of the apartment. The air conditioning worked well in both rooms, the WiFi was good (get the password from the modem in the bedroom) and everything was clean and well stocked. The only drawback was that the pull out couch was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Our elementary aged children were able to sleep on it but adults wouldn't want to.
The apartment is on a quiet street but close to 2 subway lines and the cross town bus so it is easy to get anywhere else in the city. Staying here can give you a great experience of what it is like to live in New York City."

"The apartment was clean and comfortable. When we arrived earlier than expected, the owner allowed us to drop off our luggage and showed us a place to get a bite to eat. The apartment is a few blocks from a subway which we walked to every morning and there is a bus that we were able to catch at night that dropped us off right in front of the apartment. We stayed at another VRBO property in DC and while the neighborhood was nicer, the property was not as well maintained nor the service as gracious as this one."

"Easy to get to via transit from the airports.
Ideal for exploring every bit of Central Park.
Extremely close to the American Museum of Natural History.
Straight across the park to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
See Belvedere Castle on your way through!
Plenty of great dining, drinking, and deli options within a block or two.
For sightseeing, it's only short walk to two Subway lines.
Once underground you're just a few stops away from Columbus Circle, Madisson Square Garden, Times Square, Broadway Theatre District.
Take a no transfers subway trip to Greenwich Village, Soho, World Trade Centre/911 Memorial, the Charging Bull, Wall Street, Battery Park for Tours/Ferries to the Statue of Liberty/Staten Island, and so many more sights!
With everything Manhattan has to offer an easy walk or train ride away, it is really nice to come back home to a quiet street to rest up for another day in the city.
