"I went to NY with my brother and his wife. This place was perfect. The rates are great and I love the fact that there was no deposit as well. Winston, the super was nice and helpful. The beds are both very comfortable with soft sheets. There are only two cons to this place. The bathroom had quite a bit of hair throughout the shower which led us to question how well the place is cleaned but the kitchen looked clean and there were fresh sheets and towels so we tried to put it out of our minds. Honestly, other than that the bathroom look clean. The second con is not really the owners fault. The loft ceiling is about 3-4 feet from where my head is while sleeping and the upstairs neighbors are busy folks. One morning at 430 there was a LOT OF commotion, like they were running relays and celebrating in a rolling chair. Thank goodness it only lasted a half hour. Location is excellent!!! And it was so cool to see the empire state building right out the front door. Big clean fridge, all the glassware etc we could need. The heater worked great and plenty of hot water. Very polite manager/owner Cee and again, Winston was a cool guy. So glad we found it and it was available. If I ever go back to NY I am looking this place up first."Guest: dannielle c. "Myself and my friend booked this apartment for just under 2 weeks. It was exactly what we needed in an awesome location- close to the Flatiron, within quick walking distance of 2 subway lines. Yes, the decor was a bit tired, but for the rate, it's extremely reasonable and very comfortable, which is the main thing! All beds were comfortable, although the mattresses on the beds in the loft are covered in plastic. I understand this must be to protect them however in summer, it does make them a little hot. A cheap purchase of a small fan did sort this issue out and I got on with it. There was plenty of information on local conveniences on the fridge as well as a couple of guidebooks in the room. The wifi was also fantastic and reliable. Winston was helpful holding luggage for my friend before check in time as well as holding them for her on her departure. If you're looking for a central location for a decent price and aren't expecting the Ritz, then this apartment is perfect."Guest: Leah E. "Our family party, 5 adults from Spokane and Seattle, spent a perfect July week in this comfortable, convenient, spacious Chelsea apartment. We have used VRBO in Manhattan almost a dozen times in recent years, staying in many different neighborhoods of the city, and so we consider ourselves savvy comparison reviewers. This loft definitely goes to the top of our "hope to return" file. As the photos accurately show, there's an open and welcoming ambiance to the loft. We could not have duplicated that experience in any hotel for the price, nor would we have been able to enjoy the conviviality of common space plus the ample privacy of separate bedrooms and baths. And where else could any visitor meet so remarkable, so distinctive and regal, a cat? (His human companions, aka loft owners, are agreeable too.)"Guest: Northwest Visitor Date of Stay: July 2012 Review Submitted: September 11, 2012View listing
"You couldn't pick a better location to make your base for a stay of a week or more. It's in walking distance to Times Square, but with subway so close the convenience of jumping on a train for 5 minutes (2 stops) is great and time saving. Fabulous eateries, great little bar around the corner, friendly neighbours. The apartment is exactly as described in the information. Bedrooms are a variety of sizes but all have beautiful soft comfy beds which are heaven after huge day sightseeing. Only one warning- 3 flights of stairs are tough after a 20hr flight and long days of walking. But stairs are everywhere in New York so this is definitely not a drawback to renting the apartment."Guest: Liz Date of Stay: July 2013 Review Submitted: July 30, 2013View listing
