  • Exceeds Expectations

"Stayed in this apartment for a week in August with my 2 young adult sons and one son's girlfriend - I oogled over the photos on the website for a week before committing. It was a splurge for us but could not have been more worth it. Had the best week ever with my kids, sitting and visiting at the days end was a true delight - we hung out on the deck and even had friends over who were completely charmed (and jealous) about the apartment. I had the lower floor and gave the upper to the young folk which worked out perfectly. (it was a little noisy when they were walking around overhead at 3 am after a night out but didn't really bother me.) I was a little concerned about the heat but the A/C was great and the fans supplied by the lovely owners also helped. Andrea was a wonderful communicator and she and Kit were delightful, it was fun getting to know them and hearing about the evolution of this truly unique, charming, spacious and well appointed space. Neighborhood was so cool - a TV series with Debra Messing was being filmed next door for an entire day during our stay - very cool. Lovely cafe down stairs and good shopping, proximity to Brooklyn, and the train lines to the entire city. LOVED IT!!!"

  • Great Location

"This apartment was perfect, very comfortable and it was in a great location. The owner Doug was wonderful. He came thru for us at the last minute. The restaurants around the area were great. Will stay there again next time. Thanks again Doug."

  • very nice location!!!

"Was a great place to stay. Less expensive than a hotel had all you needed in the kitchen to eat in if desired. Would definitely stay again & recommend it to anyone wanting a step up from a hotel room."

  • Fantastic Studio Apartment!

"My husband and I just spent 5 nights here and had a wonderful time. Tim is the perfect host, very responsive and attentive and at the same time, not at all intrusive. The photos are accurate and the apartment nicely decorated and very comfortable. A/C works great, firm mattress on the bed, cozy couch, and really good water pressure in the shower. Suggestions would be to add a couple of ice trays (unless we just overlooked them) and maybe some new towels. I'd love to keep this place a secret but if you're thinking of booking it, don't hesitate...you won't be disappointed! We had so much fun and want to thank you again, Tim. Jeff & Rita D."

Financial District Travel Tips

The Advantages of Financial District Vacation Apartments

Financial District vacation apartments have many advantages that hotels are just not capable of offering to their customers. For instance, vacation apartments in the Financial District are real homes that are available for use by individuals or families who are traveling. The square footage of a rental home can range from 1000 to 2000 square feet while the average hotel room is usually 400 square feet or less. Another advantage is that these Financial District New York apartment rentals are very private, while hotel rooms and their thin walls constantly let the traveler know they're not alone.

Sites to See in Manhattan's Financial District

The Financial District New York apartment rentals are in the southern end of Manhattan. Manhattan vacation rentals are luxurious places to stay, but there are also historic places in the area. Liberty Island ferries and the Staten Island Ferry depart from this area. Financial District vacation apartements are also close to many historical banks, and nearby is where most of the ticker tape parades of yesteryear started. There are museums dedicated to the New York City Police, one for American Finance, and also one each for Jewish Heritage and Indians.

Living In The Financial District

Although the area used to be considered a hub of business meant only for people to work in, it is becoming more well known for its residential areas. While in this area, travelers can pay homage at the site of the former World Trade Center or stand at the corner of Wall Street and Broad. This corner is considered the heart of the financial center of the world. Financial District New York apartment rentals are good places to stay for people who want to enjoy the hustle and bustle of New York City.
