  • Clean, safe, modern apartment in a great location.

"My wife and I stayed here for one week. The apartment is equipped with the necessities of travel and apartment living. But could use a few more bath towels. This west village/nolita location is ideal. Convenient to all the trendy shopping and foodie stuff in and around Greenwich village, SoHo, East village, etc. public transportation is just the door. The hi-building is safe, secure and well maintained and staffed with 24hr doormen. Tom is very informative and honest. The rental transaction was very smooth throughout the steps from pricing to contract signing to meet/greet to departure to deposit refund. Definitely will consider for future visits to NYC."

  • Fun on the 4th of July

"My husband and I and 2 other family members stayed here the first week of July. It was the most fabulous experience we have had individually and together. The apartment itself with the views and location cant be beat. The grocery store is across the street and to the left of the parking garage. It has everything you would need. The Theatre Row Diner downstairs is convenient and has great food, as well as Ollies across the street. The apartment is centrally located to everything attractions, transportation, dining etc. The subway is the most efficient way to get around. We enjoyed a lot of siteseeing but the apartment and balcony itself was breathtaking. We spent the 4th of July on the balcony watching the fireworks and didn't have to get out in the crowd. They were located in the southern part of Manhattan, a little far away but you could also see the Jersey fireworks and for close up views there was the TV. By far my favorite 4th of July Ever!!!! I recommend this place to anyone coming to New York City it has everything there is to offer."

  • Spacious, warm home in Harlem

"The host (Paris) was exceptionally attentive the first day, making sure everything was perfect for us. The enormous duplex really felt like home for the week. It was better stocked than our own home (coffee bean grinder!), and was filled with interesting books and art. Thanks so much for the great stay. Hope to be back soon."

Gramercy Travel Tips

Gramercy Vacation Apartments

A lesser known but wonderful opportunity for vacationers are the Gramercy New York apartment rentals. These rentals are a great chance to get to know the real life that goes on inside the community. Hotel rooms are usually only found in commercial areas of some towns, while rental homes are right in the heart of the out of the way areas. It is these little known areas that house Gramercy vacation apartments and show the real essence of a place.

History In the Park

Gramercy Park was one of the first city planning attempts in Manhattan, built for the residents whose homes immediately surround it. The keys to this park are only given to those people who own a home around it, making it only one of two private parks in all of New York City. The perimeter of the park was laid out in the 1830s and has played a part in history several times since, so there are sites to see near the Gramercy New York apartment rentals, especially for the history buff. It became a campground for Union soldiers during the Civil War. It is also home to New York City's oldest tavern which only survived Prohibition by disguising itself as a flower shop, and the Underground Railroad passed through the building that is now called the Brotherhood Synagogue.

Vacation In a Home Setting

Gramercy New York apartment rentals are a good option for vacationing families. In addition to feeling like a member of the local society,

Manhattan vacation rentals allow a vacation to include extended families. They can be together under one roof and eat meals together in a way that can not be accomplished in most restaurants. These rental properties allow families to vacation while enjoying the comfort of a home setting.
