PERFECT Apartment in NYC!
"Our family recently visited New York for our summer vacation. We stayed a full week. There were 4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids, ages 15 and 13). The apartment was absolutely perfect. It was extremely clean and the location was fantastic. Great access to a number of subway lines (we took a cab only once during our entire stay) and great access to everything else we could have wanted as well (grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, food, etc). The apartment was so well appointed. The decor is just lovely, and the pictures are 100% accurate. The apartment is very spacious by New York standards. Very comfortable for us. Great to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is wonderful. We loved having a nice big table for meals. Comfortable place to lounge before and after our daily activities. Building was nice & quiet...easy to sleep. Having a washer/dryer was great and we used a couple of times. Honestly, I cannot say enough about this unit. It provided a cozy, homey place for us while we visited NYC. I would absolutely rent this unit again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who may be considering it."

"Couple with 2 boys aged 16 & 12 spent 6 nights in the apartment in late June - fantastic location, homely apartment, and a great outdoor area with BBQ and a real oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Owner Jerry was very good to deal with. Is a touch noisy but it is NYC."

"Three of us stayed in this apartment for six nights and would highly recommend it -- very clean, comfortable and in an awesome neighborhood filled with lots of great restaurants and shops. A subway stop is just a few blocks away, and it was easy to get a cab when we needed one (would recommend downloading the app Uber Cab for instant service). We liked that the living room in the apartment easily becomes a second bedroom when you close the french doors, that both rooms had closets and that the bathroom had shelves, a medicine cabinet and a full tub with shower. We thought both the futon in the bedroom and the sofabed were comfortable and we all slept quite well -- it's a surprisingly quiet street for New York. There's a patio outside that provides a little extra space in good weather. The owner was very good about keeping in touch and answering all our questions. He even provided two pages' worth of recommendations for great restaurants, a grocery store and pharmacy that are nearby.
It's a perfect space for three people; four might feel crowded, especially with one bathroom. Note it's not a hotel, so you may have to buy extra toilet paper if you stay more than a few nights. Also, we were provided with three towels, so bring more if you think you might need them. We hope to be back soon!"

"Apartment was in a great location and close to everything you need in The Village. Also only a short walk to the Metro and all the links you need to the City.
Local eateries abound, and we had no problems finding great places for dinner. We would suggest a walk along the High Lines locally in the evening too :)
The Apartment itself was just cozy and just big enough for two. We had no issues with noise (voices can be heard at closing time for local bars in lounge, but in the bedroom this is not an issue), and the toilet mentioned in earlier reviews was not a problem either. My partner was a little grossed out by the shower water pooling around his feet in the bath (just a simple plumbing issue) and this should be looked at as its been mentioned a couple of times by others.
We were in NY during a bit of a heatwave so the efficient aircon was a godsend for us.
We arrived with 2 large suitcases. Beware the stairs are narrow and this is a second floor walk up. It took care and muscle to get them to the top :)"
