  • It had everything we needed

"Sweet apartment, modern well-kitted kitchen. We were happy to cook some meals in the apartment rather than eat out all the time. We loved the location and walked everywhere. Apartment is clean and the beds were comfortable and looked new. I would recommend it; it’s a steal at that price."

  • We'll be back!

"Three of us stayed in this apartment for six nights and would highly recommend it -- very clean, comfortable and in an awesome neighborhood filled with lots of great restaurants and shops. A subway stop is just a few blocks away, and it was easy to get a cab when we needed one (would recommend downloading the app Uber Cab for instant service). We liked that the living room in the apartment easily becomes a second bedroom when you close the french doors, that both rooms had closets and that the bathroom had shelves, a medicine cabinet and a full tub with shower. We thought both the futon in the bedroom and the sofabed were comfortable and we all slept quite well -- it's a surprisingly quiet street for New York. There's a patio outside that provides a little extra space in good weather. The owner was very good about keeping in touch and answering all our questions. He even provided two pages' worth of recommendations for great restaurants, a grocery store and pharmacy that are nearby. It's a perfect space for three people; four might feel crowded, especially with one bathroom. Note it's not a hotel, so you may have to buy extra toilet paper if you stay more than a few nights. Also, we were provided with three towels, so bring more if you think you might need them. We hope to be back soon!"

  • Cute apartment in the best location in NYC!

"We stayed in Katarine's fantastic apartment for 4months over the NY summer and loved every minute of it! Katarine was the best host possible making everything easy from before we arrived until after we left. It was seamless for us to make payments and when I had to depart urgently and unexpectedly she made leaving the apartment and refunding the security deposit stress free. She was on call if we ever needed her and very prompt to reply. The apartment is located on one of the best and most desirable streets in Manhattan and couldn't be more central. Under 2mins walk to 4 subway lines with multiple deli's, a supermarket and many great restaurants and bars out the door. 1 street to SoHo, 1 avenue to West Village and a stones throw away from the beautiful and bustling, Washington Square Park. The Apartment is a lovely New York style brick studio, tastefully furnished with everything you need. A comfortable sitting and bedroom area with a fold down table to provide extra space and loads of storage for suitcases and 4 months worth of clothes. Ground floor meant you weren't having to hike up multiple flights of stairs which made it very easy to pop in and out. The air conditioning was ideal for a hot New York summer. I hope to return to Katharine's apartment again soon and have already recommended it to friends planning a trip to New York in the future! Enjoy!"

  • Great apartment, great location, great service!!!

"I really don't have much to add to the other reviews that have already been posted. I would agree with those 5 star reviews 100%. Having lived in NYC for 5 years I can definitely say that this was a top tier apartment in a top tier location. The pictures are 100% accurate, but really do not properly communicate just how much space this apartment offers. The bedrooms are a great side, but the studio space in the back of the apartment is really big and spacious. The living room, dining room, kitchen area is also very spacious and feels even more so by the high ceilings throughout the apartment. Christine was very helpful in giving a few recommendations of restaurants in the neighborhood and in getting us settled into the apartment. We ate at the Burger Joint down the street, and at Otto where I ordered the best ravioli I have ever had. All in all, I believe that this apartment offers an extremely good value in NYC if you need more than 1 bedroom. Even if you don't need more than 1 bedroom it would still be a great place to stay because of its location and the high quality of the apartment. I look forward to the next trip where we can rent the apartment again!"
