"My wife and I spent five nights here, and loved every minute. We lived in the West Village many years ago, and felt as if we were home instantly. Steps from the subway, a few minutes walking distance to hundreds of restaurants. Perhaps most important: although the street life is "vibrant", to say the least, the apartment is gloriously quiet. The kitchen was perfect for breakfast, but you could cook dinner there if you wanted. I worked out in three fitness facilities, all a few minutes on foot (try the boxing gym for a fantastic workout!). The toilet\shower\sink arrangement is idiosyncratic but not atypical for this part of town, and not inconvenient. Marina was exceptionally helpful, including a very rapid and effective response to a plumbing problem."Guest: Claude B. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: July 12, 2014View listing
"Great apartment. We were very pleased. Exactly as pictured and described. Ultra clean and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. Safe, secure, quiet in the evening and during the night, especially for New York. Nice, safe street and close to restaurants. Too cold to use safe, secure garden but would next time we visit. Garden has table and chairs and it would have been nice to have a cocktail or coffee in the morning. Bagel shop, restaurants only a few blocks away and Whole Foods within easy walking distance. Easy to get a taxi. Easy walking to heart of village and subways. Owner was easy to work with and totally trustworthy. Received security deposit the day after we returned. Greeted by Owner’s agent upon arrival and was given complete tour and apartment information. Information from owner was excellent and right on. We will definitely stay here again when we visit New York. Not for people with disability-steep stairs from street to front door. Thanks Ken."Guest: Dave Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 16, 2014View listing
"7 days in this wonderful appartment with our 3 children (23, 20 and 16). It was just perfect. Location is great (Subway, shops, restaurants). Apartment is clean, spacious, patio is very nice. The place in Greenwich Village is quite and so charming to have walks. We really had a great week. Everything worked so well and Jerry was just perfect! I would highly recommend this property."Guest: Dominique C. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 29, 2014View listing
"Beautiful loft, conveniently located to sights, food, subway. Relaxing sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the city, especially for the young children and seniors in our party. The loft is very well appointed, clean and has all the amenities. Harriette is a wonderful host, accommodating our travel times and responding to everything we needed."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 21, 2014View listing
Greenwich Village Travel Tips
Greenwich Village Vacation Rentals Are the Best Value
An eclectic and charming neighborhood, staying in Greenwich Village vacation rentals is a great choice if you want an excellent value and a good location. Between your exciting outings, like New York:The Game scavenger sight-seeing tour, and a trip to Broadway's production of Wicked, you will love just strolling through the streets of Greenwich Village and chatting with locals and other travelers. The diversified neighborhood is like an auditory collage, featuring accents from all over the world. You will want to photograph and record everything you see in Greenwich, because it's so lovely and incongruous.
Stay in Greenwich Village Lodging, and You May Forget the Rest of Manhattan
The rest of Manhattan may just be something you hear about from other travelers after you return home, because your Greenwich Village lodging is so ideally situated! You will love lazing around the area, getting to know your neighbors. If you do venture out, Harlem Heritage Tours and the Lower East Side Tenement Museum are great ways to spend an afternoon, learning about immigrants to the US, and getting an authentic perspective on old Harlem. Another great way to spend a day is visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a gallery stroll, bistro lunch, and afternoon lecture.
Manhattan Vacation Apartments Are Charming and Elegant
Manhattan vacation apartments will give you a taste of the things you've only ever heard of, like Central Park. Both charming and elegant, your apartment will make you feel pampered and special. Spend some time visiting sights like Radio City Music Hall, but set some time aside to simply luxuriate in your accommodations, too.
It's nice to know, after a day at Ellis Island or Bryant Park, that you will have a private place to return to, away from the chaos of the public, at night.
