Lets you live in Manhattan like a local - great ex
"All was as described and the groceries were a nice touch (although I think we'd prefer it if previously opened items from other guests were disposed-of rather than left in the fridge).
Owner very friendly, but communication was a bit last-minute and so I missed a few messages about our arrival.
Overall a superb location and a good place to experience the lifestyle. I hope the next visitors got the benefit of the free tickets to the Comic Strip Live that we won in their raffle when we went!"

Quiet, Spacious Studio in Convenient Upper West Side Location
"Just spent 10 days there with a friend- sleeping on the bed and couch. So- possibly enough room for 3, if two slept in the bed. Kitchen was good for refrigerating left-overs and warming them. Nice big table to eat at or plan the day. Very quiet street, close to subway, buses and beautiful Central Park. Dov was quick to reply to messages and requests. I would have given more stars, if not for the leaning staircase, and getting the suitcases up the 2 flights. Was glad not to be on a higher floor. We read a previous review about "mince"- which we suspected meant mice. But we were careful to not leave food out and to keep food waste in the fridge until brought outside- so we didn't experience any problems with mice while there. Both of us felt we would stay there again."

Perfect quiet location close to pretty much everything
"My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids the age of 12 and 15) spent a week in the Soho appartment mid october. It was a perfect base for visiting the different parts of Manhatten. We like to walk around (10 miles a day), cause it gives the best impression of the different parts of the city, and Soho was a great starting point in the middle of everything. We walked to Central Park (North), The High Line (West), 9/11 Memorial (South), Brooklyn Bridge (Southwest) and most of Broadway. Little Italy/Chinatown is within 10-15 minutes walking distance.
Thompson St. itself is really quiet, and the surrounding streets has lots of dining places and shops to visit, so you don't have to carry shopping bags for miles - most is available in the neighbourhood.
The owner was easy to contact and very responsive, the keys were handed over in person when we got to Manhatten late in the afternoon, and we had a great week in Soho. Lots of tourists live in the area around Madison Square Garden and towards Times Square - and those are nightmare locations compared to Soho. Don't hesitate - it will be a completely different experience to have a quiet base to go back to. Thompson St. is perfect for that.
