  • Thank you for an unforgettable stay in the cozy central park duplex

"Thanks to Marys for making the preparations for our first stay in NYC so smooth. All communications were prompt and clear, payment smooth and deposit refunded no problem after our stay. The building is well maintained in a great location. The apartment was cozy, clean and homey with everything a family of 5 with 3 children needed. It was interesting living for a week like a real New Yorker in a charming vintage building where we heard the neighbors walking into the building but that’s NYC! It is quite different than Dallas living but the city is such an amazing experience and staying in a safe, beautiful and affluent central area was priceless. Marys help to organize Ramiro’s transport from and to the airport was convenient. Having 2 bathrooms was great and the beds in the bedroom were comfortable. We walked everywhere, however the subway is really close. Running in Central Park was a real bliss. There are lots of restaurant options nearby and many groceries just few blocks from the apt. It was an unique experience and we will definitely be back one day to this great city and using Marys service."

  • Great location, ideal for families with kids.

"Our family of five stayed in this duplex in July of 2013. The weather outside was hot as blazes, but the apartment was nice and cold when we arrived. The AC units were great -- so effective that we only used two of the four AC units. The downstairs had two bedrooms which we used for our three kids. They loved the loft bed and the bunk beds, and the bedrooms were dark (nice for the 5:30 am sunrise). Downstairs also included a roomy kitchen with three bar stools where the kids perched for breakfast, and a long dining room table and living room with a couple of couches -- and floor to ceiling bookshelves around the fireplace. Wish we would have had some time to read! Upstairs, the master bedroom was large and comfortable with nice linens and plush bamboo/cotton towels. There was a washer and dryer, which we utilized a lot (NYC in the summer with kids involves a lot of dirty clothes). Also upstairs was an amazing deck where we enjoyed wine and beer the homeowners left for us -- it was cooler at night, and extremely quiet for NYC. There were some great restaurants in the neighborhood, as well as some fun playgrounds in Riverside Park, and the American Museum of Natural History (great) and the Manhattan Children's Museum (we did not visit, but walked by it). Subway was close, too. The downside to the duplex was climbing the 55 or so stairs to get to the first floor of the apartment -- but this was not a problem for our family. The duplex was clean and well maintained, and the housekeeper answered all of our questions when we arrived. The owners were easy to work with, and left great directions -- as well as menus for takeout, guide books, subway maps and more guidebooks, all of which we utilized."

"We recently stayed at this property and because of the size of our family group we rented both apartments. They are exactly as described and provided us with very comfortable accommodation for eight people. It was a pleasure after a hectic day of sightseing to return to a "home" and not just a room. We ate at several restaurants within easy walking distance as well as making purchases at Zabar's. They all added to our enjoyable New York experience. Our main method of transport was the subway which was only a block away. I have no hesitation in recommending this property"

  • Best Value in NYC

"I almost hate to write this review and let others know about this place because it might not be available for our next trip, but..... The location is ideal, everything is within walking distance, Chelsea Market, the Highline, SoHo and the Lower East Side. The best restaurants are blocks away. The shopping is fabulous right around the corner. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable, up to date and quiet. The manager was quick to respond to our questions and gave us great recommendations for groceries and restaurants. We've stayed all over the city and have found the best value and location with this apartment."

Hamilton Heights Travel Tips

Hamilton Heights Vacation Apartments

For the discerning traveler, Hamilton Heights vacation apartments are a wonderful choice. This neighborhood was named for Alexander Hamilton who lived in the area during the last years of his life. Hamilton Heights became populated when the subway was built during the 1920s and is now a beautiful area with many parks and brownstones along tree lined streets. Renting Hamilton Heights New York apartment rentals can give the vacationer a feeling of oneness with this quaint neighborhood in the burrough of Manhattan.

Sites To See In Hamilton Heights

Hamilton Heights vacation apartments are near many of the sites and sounds of the area. One of the most famous sites here is the Mother AME Zion Church. This church was known as the 'Freedom Church' on the Underground Railroad and is a socially active church even today. The Sugar Hill area is historically known for breeding artistic talent including Norman Rockwell and Count Bassie. Lovers of architecture should visit just to see the wealth of style showcased in the homes there like Romanesque, Queen Anne, and Dutch Revival.

Vacation In Comfort

By using Hamilton Heights New York apartment rentals, travelers can enjoy the feeling that they're at home, while still visiting another part of the world. These rentals, unlike a hotel, have separate bedrooms and full kitchens just like at home - except the scenery outside is new and exciting. They allow a family the freedom to spread out and relax in a home-like setting so they can enjoy their time together, instead of dealing with the cramped and confined living space of a motel room. Another reason to consider Manhattan vacation rentals is because few hotels bring a traveler right into the center of everyday life. While hotel rooms can be found in the most popular areas, few are available in quaint, out of the way places.
