  • An excellent option

"This apartment is a great option for those who want to spend time in Lower Manhattan or Brooklyn. It is in the heart of the Lower East Side near the Wlliamsburg Bridge, with easy access to East Village, Chinatown, Little italy, Soho, etc etc. Twice we walked across the city to the West Village in under 30 minutes, casual strolling, passing through fascinating areas on the way. Very close to 2 subway lines also. The apartment, as advertised, is large and clean and well furnished. Two TVs, excellent mattress, a hard-wired computer and 2 different WiFi networks. Clean is a big issue, as places in NYC are not always up to the standards of home, but this place is really clean! Awesome view to the west from the 18th floor - maybe all the way to Jersey? As noted by others, the immediate surroundings are a bit grim - parking lots and other high-rise buildings, but at no time did we feel even remotely unsafe. It's a very user friendly area. Ana, the landlady, is extremely helpful and co-operative. There was a little complexity surrounding our arrival time and she worked with us so we got the keys well in advance. One could not ask for a more accommodating owner; she made it all very easy. Even left us with a welcome basket of wine, beer and sundry junk foods. The only qualification is that the cleaning fee ($100) is a bit high when compared to comparable listings in VRBO. Overall, strongly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area."

"This is a grand well maintained space that is easy to live in. Everything you need is there. For those who like to cook while on holiday it is close to fabulous markets and the kitchen has all you could want . • Exceeds Expectations

"Stayed in this apartment for a week in August with my 2 young adult sons and one son's girlfriend - I oogled over the photos on the website for a week before committing. It was a splurge for us but could not have been more worth it. Had the best week ever with my kids, sitting and visiting at the days end was a true delight - we hung out on the deck and even had friends over who were completely charmed (and jealous) about the apartment. I had the lower floor and gave the upper to the young folk which worked out perfectly. (it was a little noisy when they were walking around overhead at 3 am after a night out but didn't really bother me.) I was a little concerned about the heat but the A/C was great and the fans supplied by the lovely owners also helped. Andrea was a wonderful communicator and she and Kit were delightful, it was fun getting to know them and hearing about the evolution of this truly unique, charming, spacious and well appointed space. Neighborhood was so cool - a TV series with Debra Messing was being filmed next door for an entire day during our stay - very cool. Lovely cafe down stairs and good shopping, proximity to Brooklyn, and the train lines to the entire city. LOVED IT!!!"

  • Great Upper West side studio apartment!

"My husband and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for five days. Everything was just as advertised. The location was perfect: a couple of blocks to Central Park and the Dakota and across the street from the subway at 72 Street and Broadway. The apartment was clean, with a comfortable bed and the kitchen was well stocked with glasses, plates, cutlery, coffee pot, microwave and fridge. Good water pressure in the shower, too! A great place at a great price. This was our first time using vrbo and it won't be our last. I highly recommend this apartment."

Hamilton Heights Travel Tips

Hamilton Heights Vacation Apartments

For the discerning traveler, Hamilton Heights vacation apartments are a wonderful choice. This neighborhood was named for Alexander Hamilton who lived in the area during the last years of his life. Hamilton Heights became populated when the subway was built during the 1920s and is now a beautiful area with many parks and brownstones along tree lined streets. Renting Hamilton Heights New York apartment rentals can give the vacationer a feeling of oneness with this quaint neighborhood in the burrough of Manhattan.

Sites To See In Hamilton Heights

Hamilton Heights vacation apartments are near many of the sites and sounds of the area. One of the most famous sites here is the Mother AME Zion Church. This church was known as the 'Freedom Church' on the Underground Railroad and is a socially active church even today. The Sugar Hill area is historically known for breeding artistic talent including Norman Rockwell and Count Bassie. Lovers of architecture should visit just to see the wealth of style showcased in the homes there like Romanesque, Queen Anne, and Dutch Revival.

Vacation In Comfort

By using Hamilton Heights New York apartment rentals, travelers can enjoy the feeling that they're at home, while still visiting another part of the world. These rentals, unlike a hotel, have separate bedrooms and full kitchens just like at home - except the scenery outside is new and exciting. They allow a family the freedom to spread out and relax in a home-like setting so they can enjoy their time together, instead of dealing with the cramped and confined living space of a motel room. Another reason to consider Manhattan vacation rentals is because few hotels bring a traveler right into the center of everyday life. While hotel rooms can be found in the most popular areas, few are available in quaint, out of the way places.
