  • Perfect Choice

"We can't imagine a better home base for spending a week in New York. My husband and I stayed here with our 12-year-old granddaughter and it was perfect for the three of us. The apartment was roomy, quiet, comfortable and conveniently located. Someone commented that the bathroom was small but it was fine for us. A big person might find the tub shower a bit narrow but we found all the amenities to be exemplary. The apartment is completely stocked; we moved right in! We walked to excellent restaurants and easily took the subway or a taxi to wherever we wanted to go. Thank you so much, Scott, for making this apartment available for visitors. It's a gem."

  • Loved our stay!

"We recently made a quick trip to NYC for some Christmas Shopping, and running around the city and stayed at this apartment. It was very clean, quiet, and looked just as pictured on the site. Olivier was fantastic to do business with, and would definitely stay here again on our return to the city. It was an easy location for which to navigate around the city whether by walking or subways. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable!! We love NYC!"

  • Not a "Dream Apartment" but Functional/Good locale

"This is a REAL review. We just arrived home yesterday from our trip to NYC. Several of the reviews listed directly below this one are questionable as they also review other properties owned/managed by this group. Our family with four kids (ages 14 to 10) stayed in this apartment for a week. Overall, the apartment looks as it is pictured but do not get the impression this is a fancy apartment. It isn't. The furnishings are inexpensive, the mattresses should be replaced, and some of the appliances are less than ideal (the microwave is slow and the coffee pot leaks) BUT it is in a great location, the kitchen is fairly well stocked (with the exception of a baking sheet), the A/C works great even in July (the noise helps drown out the street noise), the wifi worked (important to kids), the cable worked most of the time (would go out intermittently for some odd reason), a sponge, trash bags, some toilet paper/paper towels, dish soap and detergent for dishwasher were provided, Diego was responsive and we had no major problems. Overall, I would say this apartment works great if you intend to stay for an extended period of time in NYC and want an option that is not a hotel so you can eat some meals in and have a little more space than a hotel room. The apartment is ideally located to several subway lines, Times Square and Central Park. This is honestly it's strongest selling point. The stairs are a pain but it's good exercise so I'm not complaining too much about that."

  • Perfect apartment and location

"We stayed for 27 nights with a week's break in the middle and it became like home. Location is excellent - close to subway, Central Park, Columbus Avenue (everything you need), downtown and cross town buses etc. The apartment is very quiet - no traffic noise. Heating, WiFi, beds and all amenities were excellent. Dov and his wife, Shula, were responsive and helpful eg offered to allow us to leave luggage in the apartment during the week's break. Apartment is very spacious and having the kitchen between the bedroom and bathroom allows some privacy. Daily rate was very reasonable. All round excellent and will stay there again if it is available whenever we visit NYC."

Inwood Travel Tips

Experience New Views of Manhattan when You Stay at Inwood Vacation Apartments

See new places and relax in style at Inwood vacation apartments in Manhattan. Inwood vacation apartments are not far from the usual sites New York visitors want to see. By subway, you're minutes away from Wall Street, Ground Zero, the Empire State Building, Central Park or shopping. However, did you know there're some fun and different things to do near Inwood?

Visit the Cloisters or the New York Trapeze School. They're close to luxurious and comfortable Manhattan vacation rentals.

Take a Vertical Tour

Are you looking for new ways to see Manhattan? Schedule time for a Vertical Tour at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine. Climb more than 124 feet on spiral staircases to the top of the world's largest cathedral. See stunning stained glass windows up close. Study architectural features from a buttress. Best of all, get views of Manhattan that make each step worthwhile.

Walk up Broadway

If you enjoy walking, follow in the footsteps of architectural historian Barry Lewis. Walk the length of Manhattan from Battery Park to Inwood Park. In a PBS program, "A Walk Up Broadway," Barry Lewis and David Harman visited historic and cultural sites, including City Hall, Canal Street, the Straus Memorial and the site of old Metropolitan Opera House. These 12 miles of New York City have a rich history whether you walk the entire route or only sections of it. When you head back to your Inwood, New York apartment rentals, grab a burger at Piper's Kilt of Inwood (4944 Broadway). Some swear they are the best burgers in New York. You decide. Alternatively, if you want a quiet atmosphere with great organic food and service, try La Estufa (5035 Broadway).
