  • Perfect location!

"I was in NYC in May for a week with my husband and my baby girl. It was an amazing experience. The appartment was exactly as the pictures shown in the webpage and in a very good location... really in the middle of the big apple. I would like to thanks Capri specially, his attention was really excellent, very helpfull and everything was as we agreed. In fact, I forgot the battery charger of my camera, and Capri sent me to Miami. I highly recommend the place. Just be aware the appartment only have long stairs, so be carefull :) Hope to see you again soon! With regards, Graciela"

  • Perfect Location * Clean * Live Like a Local

"Perfect Location / Easy access: We left our car on Long Island, took a train to the Port Authority and walked the few blocks to this apartment. 24 hour front desk, studio apartment clean and included all amenities noted. Restaurant Recommendation: Friendly residents, one of whom recommended "Mercato" (Southern Italian) - 352 W 39th & 9th Ave for dinner. Intimate and welcoming. Excellent food and wine list including Duecorti Barolo 2008 by the glass. If you're interested in buying fabric "Mood" is a 2 block walk (you're in the garment district). If you want to see "Betrayal" or "The Snow Geese" on Broadway, an 8 minute walk. Walk the High Line. Short walk to Chelsea Market. 2 subways stops to Union Square Holiday Market. A short walk to Grand Central Station to view Guastavino's tiles and arches. Enjoy lunch at the Oyster Bar (ask for the sandwich menu for the PoBoy). Food shopping - we recommend Trader Joe's (W 72nd Street) - short subway trip. Katz's wins our vote for the best Matzoh Ball Soup and Russ and Daughters have the best white fish salad. We lived like a local for a week and loved it. We live in the city in DC so we're accustomed to cars/buses/trucks honking their horns. Might be an issue for some (the apt is located at the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel)."

  • Good Location!

"We had a great stay in this apartment while working at the Javits Center. There was a ton of delicious food right around the corner, markets, and anything you could possibly want/need! The apartment was clean, equipped, and the doorman was very friendly. We would def. stay here in the future!!!!! Tip for the owner- Get some new pillows!! The pillows in the apartment were very flat and uncomfortable. Also shower curtain could use an update!"

  • White Christmas in NYC

"Six members of my family met in NYC and stayed in this apartment for two weeks over Christmas/New Year 2009/10. We arrived to snow storm chaos at JFK and took 6hrs to get from the airport to the apartment, eventually arriving at 3.30am. Roberto, the very good natured and charming landlord took us through the basics of the apartment then left us to sleep, returning the next afternoon for more detailed explanation. He had complied a list of local restaurants and service shops that was very helpful and, living next door, he added his own ideas for making the most of our first NY experience which we enjoyed. Right from my very first online enquiry Roberto was prompt and helpful. The apartment was exactly as listed, very spacious and funky. It is not '5 star' but it is clean, well maintained and generously equiped. It has a relaxed, homely feel but with an interesting artistic edge which made it the perfect place to unwind at the end of a days sightseeing. It was great to be able to walk to Wholefoods and other produce stores as well as many and varied restaurants. Nobu on Hudson our favourite. An easy walk to subway stations made exploring the rest of Manhatten very straightforward. We only took one taxi in the whole 2 weeks. At one stage the heating wasn't sufficient but that was quickly remedied by the property manager who also refunded our security deposit on time as promised. I would definitely recommend this property for an adult family or group. The loft bedrooms may restrict access for some but anyone who can climb a ladder would be fine. We gathered for drinks in the kitchen most nights and had a memorable Christmas dinner in the dining room of all the seafood carried home on the subway the night before. Very happy memories. Would love to do it all again!"
