  • Perfect Location!

"Though the studio I originally saw on the site and inquired about wasn't available for our dates, Tiffany immediately suggested another one of her studio units. I tend to be a worrier, so I was pretty nervous about renting something sight unseen (especially without the usual confirmation you'd get from a hotel), but my boyfriend and I had such a great experience with Tiffany that I wouldn't hesitate to rent from her again! She was very open and communicated with me as much as possible throughout the process, which I really appreciated. The studio we rented was in the perfect location -- right in the heart of Hell's Kitchen, just a few blocks from Times Square (but you don't even realize it because you can't hear it at all). We felt very safe in the area and especially liked that, although it was a first-floor unit, it was slightly elevated off street level, so road noise wasn't really an issue. The nearest subway is just a few blocks away, which was super convenient -- we only took a cab twice during our stay. There were so many little restaurants near the studio I wanted to check out, but we ran out of time -- maybe next time we're there we can do some exploring. I'd definitely recommend renting from Tiffany. [As a side note for the coffee lovers: After Yelp-ing different places in the area, I'd recommend stopping by Kahve cafe for their almond chai -- it was delicious. :)]"

  • Best place to stay period!!!!

"Loved the lobster ravioli and the meatball appetizer at CRISPIN's down on the corner of 52nd St and 10th Ave. We really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and the atmosphere. We felt completely safe and comfortable. THIS COUNTRY GIRL LOVES THE CITY!!!!!! Our most favorite host ever! It has been the best trip. We crammed so much into one long weekend. Our favorites were the 911 Memorial, the Empire State Building, top of the rock, broadway shows, water taxi, Little Italy, and MACY's. We will see you next year for sure! BEST hosts you could ever ask for. Highly recommend this apartment over any other."

  • A Cut Above

"Please forgive me in advance for gushing. I have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years so I feel I might be pretty knowledgeable at this point. From my first inquiry I received prompt and helpful responses. The building and the unit far exceeded my expectations and my expectations were already pretty high. It was the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. Both it and the building were beautifully appointed. I will never stay anywhere else when coming to New York."

  • Not a "Dream Apartment" but Functional/Good locale

"This is a REAL review. We just arrived home yesterday from our trip to NYC. Several of the reviews listed directly below this one are questionable as they also review other properties owned/managed by this group. Our family with four kids (ages 14 to 10) stayed in this apartment for a week. Overall, the apartment looks as it is pictured but do not get the impression this is a fancy apartment. It isn't. The furnishings are inexpensive, the mattresses should be replaced, and some of the appliances are less than ideal (the microwave is slow and the coffee pot leaks) BUT it is in a great location, the kitchen is fairly well stocked (with the exception of a baking sheet), the A/C works great even in July (the noise helps drown out the street noise), the wifi worked (important to kids), the cable worked most of the time (would go out intermittently for some odd reason), a sponge, trash bags, some toilet paper/paper towels, dish soap and detergent for dishwasher were provided, Diego was responsive and we had no major problems. Overall, I would say this apartment works great if you intend to stay for an extended period of time in NYC and want an option that is not a hotel so you can eat some meals in and have a little more space than a hotel room. The apartment is ideally located to several subway lines, Times Square and Central Park. This is honestly it's strongest selling point. The stairs are a pain but it's good exercise so I'm not complaining too much about that."
