  • Great Location

"Apartment was in a great location. Close to Central Park, close to restaurants and a 2 block walk to the subway. The neighbourhood felt safe, and it was great for evening strolls. We walked every where. We even walked down to the theatre district, Rockerfeller Plaza and Times Square. It was a bit of a trek to walk that far but the weather was so nice we enjoyed the walking. For those who don't want to walk that far the subway is just down the street. This apartment was the right size for the 2 of us. I think it would be fine for an extra child but 3 adults would feel pretty cramped. The internet worked without a hitch. Photos were accurate and it had all the amenities we needed for our stay Two suggestions: -the bedroom needs some new, real pillows. The pillows were very thin, no support and uncomfortable to sleep on. It was like there were no pillows at all. I advised Tony of the situation while we were there but never heard back from him. -the couch needs a good cleaning and possibly updating. It's a beige couch in a rented apartment; you can see where it is worn and dark from sitting on. It doesn't look clean....which doesn't mean that it isn't."

  • The Best Thanksgiving Ever

"We could not have found a more perfect place to stay for our week in NYC over Thanksgiving. There were 5 adults and 2 kids staying and the apartment had plenty of space for all of us. The view of the parade on Thanksgiving Day was spectacular. Dan went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I would encourage anyone that wants the perfect place to stay to contact Dan about his apartment. I think maybe I am now spoiled by the thoughtfulness he displayed to make sure our every need was met. It was also nice that he made sure to tell us lots of things that he thought the kids would enjoy (places to eat, places to take them for special treats, and activities for them too). I would stay again in a heartbeat."

  • Lived like a local!

"We enjoyed staying at Joe and Vera's over Easter weekend.....never stayed in a neighborhood before and we really enjoyed it. Walked to the small market close by as well as several neighborhood restaurants. Subway was close by that made it very easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Apartment was a 2 story walkup and was located on a beautiful street."

  • Great home base for visit to NYC

"This was our second rental of Peter's apartment and we have been delighted each time. While we have also stayed in the East Village many times, UWS is a great area. Lots of upscale bars and restaurants as well as plenty with local flair. (And they just opened a branch of the Meatball Shop a block and a half north! Mmmmm!!) You wouldn't even have to ride in a taxi or walk far and you could be fully entertained for many days in a NYC kind of way without leaving the UWS. But this place provides access to the entire city thru cab or Uber, and the subway is one block away. We leave about 25-30 minutes before shows start in midtown and arrive with plenty of time before curtain. This apartment is stocked with all the hardware you need for eat and drink. Blender, microwave, etc. Beds are very comfortable, as are the soft towels. Bathroom is a little tight, but it is NYC. Kitchen is huge and the living room a nice place to sit if you wish to catch up on a little tv with a beverage between outings. You do hear sound of the city, well, because you are in a city. But it really takes us one day and we're adjusted. Peter is a pleasure to work with....VERY accommodating! His communication is also superb. Looking forward to our next visit!"
