"This is a very comfortable, well appointed small apartment in a great location. The bed is comfortable, the couch in the living room is also very comfortable, the living room is spacious, the kitchen well equipped. For New York it is also pretty quiet (some car noise at night but that's pretty much it and I am very noise sensitive). The neighborhood is full of markets, cafes, restaurants, bakeries. Walking distance to the High Line. Richard responded immediately to email and was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay here again."

"We arrived from the West Coast in the evening and had one of the smoothest entries into a VRBO location possible. Jamie (the owner) had provided easy instructions and was also available if we had needed assistance. This is a well maintained 2 bedroom - 2 bathroom town home that allows for two couples to be together in a common space as well as retire for the night in their own bedrooms. One bedroom is on the first floor, the other on the second floor. As we were traveling with our nephew and his girlfriend, it was a great setup so the old folks could slip downstairs to their own quiet sleeping quarters.
The living area is spacious, the kitchen fully equipped allowing for plenty of space for the 4 of us. The owner (Jamie) came down to check in after we were settled and made us feel very welcome. She is a wealth of information about the surrounding neighborhood and we did follow a couple of her suggestions.
The location of this Upper Westside town home is fantastic. Near several subway stops (1,3,9 & C, B) getting anywhere in Manhattan was never a problem. Nearby restaurants offer plenty of selection, our favorites remain Gabriela's, Elizabeth's and a new one for us, Mermaid Inn. Each evening meal and service were great. Also, with a Whole Foods and local market nearby we were able to stock our kitchen and cook a couple of meals for ourselves.
I would definitely recommend this town home for families and couples traveling together. A special find in a beautiful part of Manhattan."

"My husband and I just spent five nights in this great apartment. The hosts were very attentive and helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay. The key exchange went smooth. The location is perfect; walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery and drug stores, parks, and public transportation, including a subway stop. The apartment was what we expected based on the photos and description. We greatly appreciated the air conditioning, use of the kitchen, and the roof-top patio. The bathroom is a bit tight, but completely workable. The stairs were steeper than expected, but once we got our bags upstairs it was fine. This apartment makes a great "home base" for a trip. You can stay in the neighborhood or take advantage of public transportation to venture out all over Manhattan. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an alternative to a hotel stay."
