  • As Advertised

"This apartment is exactly as advertised. Very roomy, nicely decorated, ample space for the six of us ladies who spent five nights here in September. It's close to the subway (which we didn't use, but bought bus Metro cards there), right on the crosstown bus line and easy to hail a yellow cab. There is a Whole Foods store one block away and some awesome restaurants (don't miss Le Colonial down the street) in the area. Diane was most helpful with any questions we had and even arranged for airport pickup for us. I did not give it an "excellent" because the apartment wasn't totally cleaned when we checked in. However, when I notified Diane, she immediately sent over her cleaning staff to handle it. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to my friends traveling to NYC."

  • Convenient and Comfortable.

"The unit location proved to be excellent for everything we wanted, close to transport when required and very close to some excellent restaurants, markets and bars. Although we found the unit a bit on the small side it was OK for two visitors (and family) to NYC, unit owners went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable."

  • Wonderful, kid-friendly but elegant stay!!

"Our stay here was perfect! We are a family of 4: 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 6 and 4. The apartment was exactly as advertised: clean; very nicely sized, especially in comparison to NYC hotels (a better deal too); fully stocked kitchen (and refrigerator); bunk beds and lots of toys for the kids (boy and girl); view of Central Park outside dining room/family room window; view of Columbus Circle from master bed; access to 20th floor outside area for picnicking, bubble blowing, and gorgeous views of Central Park! The location was perfect for our needs: subway lines on same block; can walk to many places including Whole Foods and a huge mall with lots of stores/restaurants located on Columbus Circle; walking distance to FAO Schwarz/Bergdorf Goodman in the other direction; and Central Park literally across the street (cool play structures/zoo/horse carriages walking-minutes away). Owner Daniel was a total pleasure to work with: he provided list of yummy places to eat with kids (some elegant, some casual) as well as delivery/take out options, he texted a bunch to make sure we were happily situated and entertained throughout our trip (making suggestions, etc), and he even had his housecleaner come in to pick up mid-stay (and she did our laundry!). We celebrated my husband turning 40 during our 5-day stay here and it honestly could not have been a better trip. We can’t wait to stay here again!!"

  • Oasis in the city

"As I sit in this lovely apt. on our last morning here, enjoying a cup of tea, I just had to write to say how much we enjoyed our stay. I’d say the main attraction of this apt is location. Right off of 5th Ave., 3 blocks from the Empire State Bldg Observatory Entrance, and 2 subway stops from Times Square, this apt is ideally situated for exploring the city. I counted 3 main subway stations within walking distance of the apt! The apt is on a direct line to the 911 Memorial (R Train), to Times Square (R Train), Lincoln Center (no. 1 train) and to Bloomingdales (No 6 train). There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Take a right out of the bldg and walk to the end of the block for a great convenience store/deli, where I purchased our breakfast each morning to bring back to the apt. Delicious bagel sandwiches! S'Mac, on 33rd and 3rd is also an easy walk from the apt and offers wonderful dishes at a great price! There is also a Bread and Butter on 5th Ave and 31st that literally offers anything you could want to eat, from Korean food, Japanese food, Italian, to NYC deli. They offer a great hot buffet that is very reasonable. The owner was very responsive to any requests I had and was a true delight to work with. He provided a detailed account of the neighborhood and the location of all amnenities one might need, including laundry, gym, and grocery stores, as well as restaurant recommendations. The apt itself is very comfortable and provides everything one might need during their stay. Tom has thoughtfully provided umbrellas in the closet, tea and coffee in the cupboard (along with many other condiments and toiletries) and the bed is one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. There is a full bathroom, including a tub. Those who are in the city for business will appreciate the large desk and desk lamp along with free wifi! The a/c worked wonderfully and was much appreciated during the muggy summer days. I can’t think of a single thing lacking in this apt. It was just my son and I on this trip, but there is a blow up mattress, so I’d think a family of 3 would also be quite comfortable here. The only caveat I would offer is that it is a 4th floor walk up, which might be challenging to the elderly or those with very young children, but for us, it was a welcome way to work off the delightful food we enjoyed in the city. Thanks again Tom for a wonderful stay."
