Beautiful, large apartment
"We spent 10 days in Gerri's apartment in May/June and had a fabulous stay. We were met by Gerri's wonderful assistant Danuta and Gerri was in touch with us to ensure all went well. Arrivals and departures went like clockwork.
The apartment is very large for a one bedroom New York apartment and full of sunshine and light. The building has a huge garden area that residents can use and terrific and helpful doormen. The location is more residential, with the hospital next door, but there is a supermarket around the corner. You can walk about five blocks to the subway (line 6) or get a bus uptown on the corner. During the day taxis are easy to get as they drop people at the hospital.
The apartment itself is well equipped with great internet connections, an excellent kitchen if you like to cook and comfortable couches and chairs in the spacious living room. There's a pay as you go washer/dryer in the basement but we took our large items to a local laundry who washed and pressed them for a small fee.
This apartment is a great find in New York and a lovely place to relax after a hectic day on your feet. I would most certainly stay there again. Thank you Gerri!"

"I arrived at this apartment in the late pm & after a long days trek. Vir greeted me with a bag of welcome/getting started groceries. So I had milk for my tea when I awoke in this well lighted, clean, quiet apartment with , window which open and have greenery to enjoy. There is comfortable furniture and enough room to move around ( bedroom has a great bed , is a bit small but seems larger because of the mirror which reflects the back yard.) Spacious closet. The neighborhood has beauty all around including Central Park one block away. Good restaurants to explore and close to subway & bus. I would return in a heart beat."

Great accommodation in a leafy quiet environment very close to Central Park
"The property was in a great location conducive to restaurants, the subway and shops including convenience stores. It is close to Central Park for a extensive or short walk and some of the major museums are nearby. The Owners were cooperative and helpful and willingly accommodated our needs and requests."

"This apartment made our extended stay in New York the complete vacation experience we had dreamed of. The configuration of this charming place renders it more spacious than the advertised 600 square feet suggest, and its proximity to museums and parks provided us easy access to numerous interesting sights within short walking distance. Indeed, exploring the shops and restaurants of the vicinity was itself an enrichment to the experience of living as visitors to a trendy New York area. And at the end of each day such a nice place to come home to. Never another hotel if we can avoid it."
