  • A WONDERFUL FIND.

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying two weeks over Christmas in this fabulous apartment. Photos don't do it justice. Fabulous location and Shani's local tips proved invaluable. Shani and Albert are absolutely delightful and a slight hiccup we had with heating was dealt with immediately without any fuss. Thank you Shani and Albert for allowing us to stay and we hope to return some day."

  • Great place to stay in the heart of NYC

"Stayed here for a week and loved it. We had the basement suite, which is very well appointed. I travelled with my two teenage children and we all had our own beds, plus there was plenty of room. The operators of the B & B are wonderful hosts, and you still maintain the same privacy as if you were in a hotel. Very quiet place, too. Would definitely stay here again."

  • West Village Palooza!

"Beautiful space, great character, elegant and functional, a charming retreat from the high energy of New York City when needed, but close to sights and sounds. Gorgeous Steinway Grand piano with a sound fit for Carnegie Hall will tempt any musician along for the trip. Jogging along the Hudson River just down the street, you can see the Statue of Liberty and the Freedom Tower. The townhouse is walking distance to the Subway or to Highline Park. It is located close to great bars and restaurants, many with historic significance (Olio e Piu, Malatesta, Cowgirl Cafe, The Stonewall Inn, White Horse Tavern), and stores (Joe Malone, Rag and Bone, Gourmet Garage). Great little thrift store at St. Luke's, too. But even in New York City, you might just want to stay home some time. There is a well appointed kitchen and lots of homey little spots to snuggle in. There are three large bedrooms, two and a half pretty bathrooms. Nesting might be preferred to sight-seeing sometimes. The Courtyard provides precious and comfortable outdoor space for morning coffee, evening cocktails or even dining. But most of all, your host is a total sweetheart. I will always remember this trip fondly."

  • Good place to stay for first time NYC visitors

"Nice apartment, great location (near subway, Central Park, and grocery stores - NY too expensive to eat out all the time:-) ). It was nice to be able to get away from the "action" like Time Square but still be close via the subway. We were nervous about driving into Manhattan, but this location was easy to get to (via Lincoln Tunnel and from (via the expressway along the Hudson). We parked the car when we got there and did not need it till we left."
