Beautiful, large apartment
"We spent 10 days in Gerri's apartment in May/June and had a fabulous stay. We were met by Gerri's wonderful assistant Danuta and Gerri was in touch with us to ensure all went well. Arrivals and departures went like clockwork.
The apartment is very large for a one bedroom New York apartment and full of sunshine and light. The building has a huge garden area that residents can use and terrific and helpful doormen. The location is more residential, with the hospital next door, but there is a supermarket around the corner. You can walk about five blocks to the subway (line 6) or get a bus uptown on the corner. During the day taxis are easy to get as they drop people at the hospital.
The apartment itself is well equipped with great internet connections, an excellent kitchen if you like to cook and comfortable couches and chairs in the spacious living room. There's a pay as you go washer/dryer in the basement but we took our large items to a local laundry who washed and pressed them for a small fee.
This apartment is a great find in New York and a lovely place to relax after a hectic day on your feet. I would most certainly stay there again. Thank you Gerri!"

"I can't speak well enough about this gem of a walk-up, though most of my comments will mirror what others have already noted: very spacious (by NY standards - HUGE), with a stocked kitchen, W/D, dining room (!), balcony, and ample room to spread out. The furnishings are comfortable and well-cared for. My kids (10 and 8) loved the front bedroom, with two beds and a view onto Lexington Avenue; and the master suite, with private bathroom and amazing patio balcony, offers a space "away". The owners are attentive and courteous in every way. The location in a vibrant, established neighborhood is central to the subway, and within walking distance of many must-see venues and tons of restaurants. It was so nice to come back at the end of each day to a place that felt like home - great for families and weary explorers alike. We were all amazed at what a lovely place it is, and we hope to make it our home base next time we visit NYC. Truly a gem!"

"Me and my girlfriend stayed for a week in this excellent apartment. I don't think that you could find an apartment in N.Y city that's better than this one. It's quiet, had a lot of space and a comfortable bed, it was clean and we could always ask Angela a lot of questions before and during the stay and got answers that made our stay even easier. But the best part was the location. You walk to Empire State Building on 3-4 minutes, subway 3-4 minutes, Times square 7-8 minutes and you got a lot of restaurants and stores right outside the building. We would totally recommend this apartment and we would be happy to come again. Thank you!"

"Everything you have read is true! What you see in the photos is what you get. Clean, airy, great sunlight and a window that opens which is a bonus (and a tree outside. Rare thing for NY!!). Tim is a great guy and met us on arrival giving us a rundown on the apartment. There were fresh flowers which was lovely. He walked with us to the subway and got our ticket for us. He answered all emails and texts promptly and is always available if you need anything. There is a gym and laundry room and It works by using a card which Tim will give you. You just add money on it and use the machines, simple.
The apartment is really clean and that was the main thing for me. There are lots of cleaning products there for use during your stay if needed. Ample cupboard space for hanging clothes and drawers as well. Kitchen had all you need. Great water pressure in shower and the bed is the most comfy bed I have slept in in a hotel/apartment and that's saying something cause I am in hotels all the time with my job.
The location is fantastic, three short blocks from Grand Central Station and great for first time visitors to NY. You can walk to Bryant Park, Empire State Building, Times Square, Broadway and so much more.
Thanks so much Tim, the apartment was fantastic."
