"This spacious apartment is in a great location, close to transport, food stores and dining optons. The apartment is very quiet and the bed very comfortable as was the sofa. This is the second time we have stayed here and if we return to New York would definitely stay here again."

"I have just returned home from simply the best holiday in recent memory. One of the highlights of my NYC trip was staying at this brownstone B & B. The fabulous experience started with the quick and helpful response of the booking agent. Every detail was handled timely and efficiently. The owners of the home were perfect hosts. They accommodated our busy schedule for breakfasts and were gracious at sharing the space with us over other meal times we happened to be back in the area. The location was brilliant, a quiet brownstone less than a block to central park yet only a few blocks to buses and subways making this an ideal location. You are close to all areas of Midtown Manhattan without the noise and craziness of it! The accommodations were beautifully decorated and all the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts provided where delightful with your daily choice from a set menu. We were fortunate to spent 7 nights at the brownstone on a picturesque tree line street. I will highly recommend this accommodation to everyone travelling to NYC, with the exception of someone not able to climb stairs as you are on the 3rd floor of the building and no elevator."

"This studio is exactly as described. Not fancy but plenty of character and perfectly located. The neighborhood was nice and quiet as far as anything that close to everything can be. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. TJ was incredibly helpful and attentive as well."

"The Good: perfect location; very close to Times Square, Columbus Circle, Central Park, shopping, tons of restaurants, bars, subway accessibility, clean area, security doorman; clean kitchen; air conditioning, in-apartment washer/dryer
The Bad: shower room vent is very dirty and needs cleaning; the shower-tub drainage plumbing needs servicing - the water did not drain properly after showering; the bathroom needs a shower mat (I used a bath towel to step on to after showering); the cot bed/mattress and coil springs definitely needs replacing (suggestion: replace the cot with a sofa bed); or add a new cot and a new sofa bed all together; the washer and dryer didn't seem to wash and dry properly; clothes were somewhat dirty still after; the washer needs to be serviced or cleaned, there was dirt or mold in between the rubber seals; the dryer doesn't automatically turn off - left on and you have to manually shut it off (dangerous and it heats up); needs a toaster in kitchen; needs a basic plug-in kettle for boiling water; kitchen sink needs a new metal stopper; the laminate flooring needs to be fixed (bubble protruding in the walk area/kitchen table area); the TV remote needs to be replaced or fixed (didn't always turn on)the lock on the balcony door needs to be fixed - it didn't lock properly.
Would still recommend to friends, but should get those causes for concern fixed and the rating would be higher."
