"Loved my recent stay at this apartment. The location is outstanding. Close to Central Park, Columbus Circle and Time Warner Building where there is a Whole Foods Supermarket in the basement. Great to have friendly doormen who go out of their way to help. A big plus is the Elevator and Laundry and a lovely well kept pre war building. Very close to 9th Ave where there are a variety restaurants and bars. You will be spoilt for choice.
This is our 2nd visit at this apartment and will be back again next time we visit NYC."

"My wife and I went to NYC to visit our daughter (who lives in Brooklyn) and to see some shows. The apartment is comfortable (air conditioning works very well) and beautiful (especially the view from the balcony). It is also very conveniently located, with Lincoln Center (where we went to two performances) essentially next door. There is a subway station only a 15 minute walk away, so it is very easy to get to Broadway (where we saw two plays). Coming home from Broadway was only a $10 cab ride (not including tip). There is also a grocery store just around the corner that stays open till 10 p.m.
What really made our stay special was how wonderful a host James was. My wife and I have had very good luck with VRBO both in the US and Europe. But, James was, by far, the best host we have encountered. The apartment is very well stocked with coffee, sweeteners, condiments, towels, toiletries, tour books and maps of NYC, and numerous other items that made us feel truly at home. There were even umbrellas, which were very helpful during the deluge we encountered one day.
We are already planning our trip back to NYC next year, and will definitely stay there again. We highly recommend this wonderful place."

"Our entire vacation experience in Gerri's apartment was fantastic. My dad and I spent 5 days in this wonderful apartment. Right from the initial booking process to our departure, it was perfect. I never offer reviews online however I felt it important to express our pleasure with this rental and the owner. I am always apprehensive with the legitimacy of online transactions but my concerns were alleviated through my interactions while booking with Gerri. Our arrival and departure were both seamless (thanks Jack!). We were offered a cell phone number to personally reach the owner but never needed to use it because the apartment is so well maintained. The area is more residential and this spacious, one-bedroom is exactly as pictured, bright, clean, neat and well cared for, with huge windows. The doormen were extremely pleasant and diligent in their job. We used both the very comfortable bed, and the living room pull-out sofa which was equally as comfortable (so often hotel pull-outs are simply not usable, old and saggy). We also really appreciated having the immediate access to WiFi, and a big working television. After walking 10-12 miles/day, it was such a relief to be able to relax first in the cozy couch and chairs, then later in the huge, gorgeous, secluded treed courtyard out back. We were blessed with exceptionally hot weather so having two flawlessly functioning air-conditioning units provided a wonderful cool "home" to return to every evening. Having stayed in NY before, I am familiar with how noisy it can be however we didn't hear any street noises or neighbours after closing the door at night, which is really remarkable. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of clean, functioning appliances (but no microwave just in case you were expecting one). The shower had excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. The supermarket and drugstore around the corner had anything and everything you could possibly need. We easily walked everywhere but when we needed to take the subway, it was a short 3 to 4 block walk. The closest tourist attractions are the Empire State Building and Grand Central Station. It was an approx 25-30 minute walk to Times Square. Basically, the apartment was everything we were hoping for and more, at an exceptional value, but truly it was the great customer service from Gerri and Jack that helped make the whole trip a breeze. This apartment will definitely be my go-to property in New York from now on! Thanks Gerri and Jack!"

"We have wanted to stay in this condo when we come to New York for the US Open, and its always been booked the dates we are looking for. But this year, it was available!! We were so excited. We LOVED this place. Location, Location, Location!! It is right in Times Square. Subways, restaurants, everything you need is very close... Condo is great size, beautifully decorated, very clean, and the views were to die for! Better than the photos! The balcony off the master bedroom was a big plus. We love to hear all the craziness down on the streets. Bill was a pleasure to work with and gave us great information about restaurants and things to do. We will definitely be back!"
