I have recommended this condo to my friends and family, there is no higher praise.
"The other reviewers are exactly right, the condo is lovely and the views are amazing. I decided to discuss some of the other benefits of the condominium.
First, it is very near the Port Authority Bus Terminal, that means you can take the Airporter or Express bus from any of the three major airports and get to the condominium for $16 one way, $9 for seniors. You will have a walk of less than 2 minutes, perfect, and they run every 15 minutes.
We almost always walk or take the subway and the Port Authority has the A,B, & C lines. That means you can easily get to the World Trade Center, several museums, and the theater district. Everywhere else you will probably want to go runs through Times Square station and that is just a 5 minute walk away. The Circle Line boat pier is just a 10 minute walk down 42nd street and I highly recommend you take one of their cruises around Manhattan. If you want to take a taxi there is a queue on 9th so you don't need to try to hail a cab.
There is a very nice deli-market right next door but if you are planning on eating in occasionally there is a Food Emporium, a full service grocery, in the next block. The doorman will direct you. The staff is wonderfully helpful and friendly. We were there for nine days and it was only a day or two before they recognized us and had the door open as we approached. Everyone in the building was very nice, it was fun to be living among 'real' New Yorkers.
We have stayed in VRBO listings all over the world and Susan's was the best by far. The unit books up far in advance so be sure to contact her as soon as you know you will be in NYC."

"This was our second rental of Peter's apartment and we have been delighted each time. While we have also stayed in the East Village many times, UWS is a great area. Lots of upscale bars and restaurants as well as plenty with local flair. (And they just opened a branch of the Meatball Shop a block and a half north! Mmmmm!!) You wouldn't even have to ride in a taxi or walk far and you could be fully entertained for many days in a NYC kind of way without leaving the UWS. But this place provides access to the entire city thru cab or Uber, and the subway is one block away. We leave about 25-30 minutes before shows start in midtown and arrive with plenty of time before curtain. This apartment is stocked with all the hardware you need for eat and drink. Blender, microwave, etc. Beds are very comfortable, as are the soft towels. Bathroom is a little tight, but it is NYC. Kitchen is huge and the living room a nice place to sit if you wish to catch up on a little tv with a beverage between outings. You do hear sound of the city, well, because you are in a city. But it really takes us one day and we're adjusted. Peter is a pleasure to work with....VERY accommodating! His communication is also superb. Looking forward to our next visit!"

"We just spent a fantastic week at Sue's Upper East side flat and it was as wonderful as advertised !!! The flat was roomy enough for the 3 of us, the air worked great (that week was pretty hot):) and the location amazing!!! So safe and easy to get around the city. We also took Sue's advice and had Max pick us up and drop us off. He is a true professional and kicked off the NYC experience with lots info and music that matched our mood of excitement and promise of the week that was ahead of us. This was a very perfect week for us and it all had to do with this place and its location!!
Thank you Sue and Max!!"

"This lovely townhouse is located on a quiet, tree lined street easily walkable to Union Square, Washington Square Park, and numerous subway stations. The apartment features plenty of day light, high ceilings, wood floors, and very comfortable furnishings - towels and bedding are top notch. Everything was very clean upon arrival, including a very handy kitchen. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. We discovered some wonderful restaurants on the block that we will be visiting again when we return. Working with HGS has been a pleasure. Nancy in booking, and Andy in guest services, are responsive and gracious. We highly recommend this townhouse and are looking forward to returning soon."
