Perfect quiet location close to pretty much everything
"My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids the age of 12 and 15) spent a week in the Soho appartment mid october. It was a perfect base for visiting the different parts of Manhatten. We like to walk around (10 miles a day), cause it gives the best impression of the different parts of the city, and Soho was a great starting point in the middle of everything. We walked to Central Park (North), The High Line (West), 9/11 Memorial (South), Brooklyn Bridge (Southwest) and most of Broadway. Little Italy/Chinatown is within 10-15 minutes walking distance.
Thompson St. itself is really quiet, and the surrounding streets has lots of dining places and shops to visit, so you don't have to carry shopping bags for miles - most is available in the neighbourhood.
The owner was easy to contact and very responsive, the keys were handed over in person when we got to Manhatten late in the afternoon, and we had a great week in Soho. Lots of tourists live in the area around Madison Square Garden and towards Times Square - and those are nightmare locations compared to Soho. Don't hesitate - it will be a completely different experience to have a quiet base to go back to. Thompson St. is perfect for that.

"A very nice, well-appointed apartment in a good quiet building and no street noise. Large living room with kitchenette and cozy bedroom. Building owner stopped by to say hello and make sure everything was fine. I have stayed here several times and plan to stay here again in the future. Also great neighborhood, convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, museums, and 10 minute walk to Lincoln Center."

"I have just returned home from simply the best holiday in recent memory. One of the highlights of my NYC trip was staying at this brownstone B & B. The fabulous experience started with the quick and helpful response of the booking agent. Every detail was handled timely and efficiently. The owners of the home were perfect hosts. They accommodated our busy schedule for breakfasts and were gracious at sharing the space with us over other meal times we happened to be back in the area. The location was brilliant, a quiet brownstone less than a block to central park yet only a few blocks to buses and subways making this an ideal location. You are close to all areas of Midtown Manhattan without the noise and craziness of it! The accommodations were beautifully decorated and all the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts provided where delightful with your daily choice from a set menu. We were fortunate to spent 7 nights at the brownstone on a picturesque tree line street. I will highly recommend this accommodation to everyone travelling to NYC, with the exception of someone not able to climb stairs as you are on the 3rd floor of the building and no elevator."

"My wife and I spent 5 wonderful days at Sofia's place. Every thing about the place was perfect. Nicely decorated, comfortable bed and lots of extra things we didn't expect. Many great restaurants within easy walk and lots to see and do nearby. Sofia is an absolute perfect host. We will return."
